Chapter 3

Bella's POV

Since Percy had only stated today, and he was in my history class, he was allowed to come with us. We got to the bus, and the teacher asked me to stay by him and try to catch him up on what we had been learning in class. I basically just told him that we were learning about Greek mythology. His smile brightened at the fact that we were gonna be spending a full day surprising people with our knowledge. We told Mrs. Jenks that he also had ADHD and dyslexia. She sighed but didn't say anything more about it. When we got on the bus, we sat at the back, away from everybody else so that he could catch me up on everything that's happened since I left camp. The best bit of news that he told me was that Will and Nico were dating! My reaction was,
"OMG! Yesssss! I've been shipping Solangelo for ages!!" He laughed at me and said,
"We all have! It's funny watching them be affectionate to each other because Nico just blushes like crazy," he then showed me a photo he got of them kissing, well technically Jason and Piper got it. We caught up like that for most of the trip. Nico was like my big brother, even though he's my little cousin. He was always a bit protective of me, but not as protective as Percy. I told him how Edward was my 'boyfriend' but that it was just for the mission. I then confessed to him about having a massive crush on Leo. I really miss it back home, and I'm leaving this town as soon as I can. The only people I'll miss, are Jacob and Angela. Speaking of Jacob, he's been really sick lately. Billy said he had mono and that I couldn't see him. I'm still gonna go there after school, and I'm dragging Percy with me.
"Hey, after school, we're going to see my friend. He's been sick"
"Ok"
I'd missed Percy so much. I sighed and leaned into his side. I tucked my feet up on the seat and he put his arm around me, pulling me closer.

Jessica then Came over to the back and saw me snuggled into Percy's side.
"Wow Bella, are you cheating on Edward now?" She asked snidely
I was about to say something when Percy beat me to it.
"Actually, I'm her twin brother. So no she is not cheating on Edward"
"So are you just as weird as her then?"
"If by that you mean, do you have dyslexia and ADHD as well, then yes, I'm weird as well"
"Great now there are two freaks," she said it low enough that nobody was supposed to be able to hear it, but we did. I rolled my eyes, and snuggled further into Percy's side, inhaling the fresh scent of the ocean. We both smelt like the beach and the ocean. It was kinda nice.
"You two seem awfully close, seeing as you're just brother and sister" she put air quotes around brother and sister
"Actually, we are very close. We've always done everything together, also I haven't seen her in 7 months." I love it when he stands up for me. She huffed and sashayed back off to her seat next to Mike, who stared at me wistfully. Edward came down the aisle. I didn't realise that he was here today. I thought that he was gonna stand in my yard all day. He sat down next to me, I'm guessing he was hoping that I would curl up to him the same way I do Percy. I didn't though. I could tell that he was a bit hurt. I didn't want to compromise my quest, so I reluctantly got off my brother and rested my head on Edward's shoulder. He whispered in my ear and told me that he needed to speak to me after school. I nodded and grabbed Percy's hand. He gave it a squeeze and told me that he would be hiding in the bushes, whilst the bloodsucker talked to me. Of course, he didn't say that out loud but in our thoughts.

We finally arrived about 10 minutes later. As we got out, the museum said something on the front, it said 'Μουσείο Ελληνικής Ιστορίας'. Percy and I translated the words into English to reveal, Greek History Museum. As we walked in, I gasped. This museum is a lot better than the one we saw when we first found out that we were Demigods. As we looked at the plaques, we played a game of who could read the most.
"Hey, Bella" I turned at the sound if my name and was met with Jessica. Again.
"What do you want Jessica?"
"I want you to read that sign since you're the top of this class at the moment." she pointed to one of a girl about 11 or 12 stabbing a hellhound at the zoo. The Greeks had been prophesising our lives since ancient times. They knew all the quests we would go on. I looked over to the one she pointed at, then looked back at her smirking face. This plaque was about me.
"Η Isabella σκοτώνοντας τον μινώταυρο"
The smirk disappeared from her face and went into a gasp.
"How can you read that? You're dyslexic, you can't read"
I just shrugged, and said,
"Life's a mystery"
Percy laughed at her expression and wrapped his arm around my shoulder. We continued on through the exhibition and stopped when we got to a bit about Poseidon. When we looked at it, we prayed to our dad, telling him that we loved him.
