The Little Reason (Book 1: Stiles and May)

First day of Training

I stood at the top of the stairs as Derek broke Scotts arm. "Pain keeps us human." Derek said. Scott growled and went to go hit Derek but was thrown across the room.

"Der." I said in a warning tone. Derek looked at me as he pinned Scott down.

Scott looked at me aswell. "May?" Scott asked me.

"Hey Scotty~" I said with a smile. I walked over to him and helped him up and he looked between me and Derek.

"You know each other? Are you two dating?!" he asked shocked. I looked at him and signaled to Derek who smacked Scott.

"That would be insest. Cause see Derek Hale is my brother, and no I am not a werewolf. I am the only living human Hale." I explained that to him.

Scott looked at me then Derek and nodded. "Does Stiles know?" He asked.

"No...The Sheriff knows cause I bailed him out after you two idiots accused him of killing our sister." I said glaring at him a little.

"Yeah sorry about that." he said to us. I sighed and looked at Derek.

"No..." he said looking at me. "No May I'm not babysitting your friend!" Derek said.

"Der Der~" I whined at him. "Please~" I said

Derek sighed and agreed to train Scott as long as he brought Stiles. I went up to my room and sat on the bed. Derek came up and smiled. "So tell me about your crush on Stiles." He said.

"It won't work. He's in love with Lydia and all so yeah." I said.

I went to take a shower and went to my room to get dressed. I smiled at my only picture of my family I had left. I layed in bed and fell asleep.

The next day Scott and Stiles pulled up in Stiles' Jeep. I sat on the front portch looking at them. Stiles looked at me. "Why the hell are you here?" Stiles asked me. I looked at him and smiled.

"Hey Stinky well if ya must know I'm here cause I live here." I said. I saw the look of disapointment on his face. Derek came out behind me.

"Hey Der~" I said with a smile.

"For a human you have great hearing." Derek said ruffling up my hair as he walked up to Scott.

"Hey! Your a mean big brother!" I yelled.

"Wait your his sister?!" Stiles asked in disbelief.

"Yeah I'm the only human Hale alive so yeah." I said. Stiles blinked a few times. "Come on Stiles your first day of training begins" I said leading stiles to the yard.

"I know you do reseach on werewolves. So tell me the first thing you do when a werewolf attacks?" I asked, fixing my clothes.

"Run?" he said.

"Good but what if your cornered?" I asked pining him to the tree.

"Fight back." he said.

"Right now hit me here" I took his hand and balled it up as I placed it on my ribs.

"What no!" He yelled.

"Your dead." I said walking away. "If I was a werewolf I would have riped your head off. So you have till the full moon next week to get this right." I said. "Now lets go again." I said as I charged at him.
