Author's POV

The sunlight streamed into the window in Elizabeth's bedroom. She slowly blinked her eyes awakened by the brightness of the Sun. She had just had the weirdest dream. She dreamed of this boy, he was tall and he wore stripes and TOMs. But she couldn't see his face or remember details of the dream. She brushed it off thinking she might remember later on.

"Elizabeth, time to get ready for school!" called her mother, "Louis will be here soon. Hurry so you two can eat before you leave."

"Yes mum," Elizabeth said she said blushing, "I remember."

She rushed to shower and get ready before Louis got there knowing the consequences of being late or still sleeping when Louis arrived. She picked out an outfit and put it on and rushed down the stairs just as he walked through the door.

"Lizzie!!!" Louis cried as usual in the mornings, "You're up today!"

"Lou!!!" Elizabeth replied the same, "Shut up, the thought of you made me get up."

"Awe Lizzie got up thinking about me."

"You know what I mean Lou."

"Still. Are you blushing?"

Elizabeth had a subtle blush as they walked to the kitchen and sat down as Elizabeth's mother put down four plates of Bangers, Eggs, and Hash. On Louis plate was a pile of baby carrots. That boy had a strange obsession with those so both his and Elizabeth's house was stocked on all types of carrots.

"Thank you" both of the children said together making them look at each other and look away blushing slightly. Both of their mothers were waiting for the day their children realized that they were meant for each other. The children protested strongly but by the look in Louis' eyes he was on his way to falling in love with Elizabeth.

"Now hurry you two," said Mrs. Moore, "You should start walking."

"Yes Ma'am." the two said as they hurried to finish the food. They grabbed their bags and ran out of the house and started the journey to the school. It was a cold day so both of their cheeks were a ruddy pink as they walked and talked.
