An Awkward Encounter (Chapter 1)

KARMA'S POV

The luminous sun blinded my eyes for nearly a minute until I awoke. Checking the time now shown as 7:45, I gasped in shock and without wasting a minute I prepared for school which began at 8:00.

Last night I was on a mission to assassinate serial killers with my lover (Blue Mask) or the person I hope to be my lover. Although the serial killers got away, I wasn't as disappointed as I should've been.

I fell in love at first sight when the government introduced me to the feminine Blue Mask. Although I never saw how Blue Mask really looked, I knew she was the one for me. With such a petite figure added with her femanine charm I was captivated instantly. Looking at the delicate creature, I vowed in my heart to protect her for the rest of my life.

With my reluctance to part, we chatted for a few hours which caused me to oversleep this morning.

I dashed toward the 3-E classroom but unexpectedly bumped into a similar looking youth. I came back to my senses seconds later and saw bright blue eyes which stared at me in a daze.

"Oh morning Nagisa." I said as I tried to snap him back to his senses. I could tell it worked because he was now blushing?

"Ahhhh!!! Karma, where are you touching?" Nagisa shrieked as his face got redder and redder.

I was in the state of bewilderment until I realized I was sitting on top of him touching his chest as what seems to be one of the sensitive spots for males.

Trying not to show I was flustered, I sent a rapid reply "So...you're actually a boy."

NAGISA'S POV

On my way to school to continue my life as an average class 3-E student, Karma crashed somewhat violently into me as we both fell on the grassy ground.

Although his reply was quite close to a whisper, I still heard it. "Stop teasing me! You've seen my upper half body at the pool last time."

Remembering when I saw Karma's upper half naked at the pool, my heartbeat started to quicken. In hopes of keeping my heartbeat a secret, I pushed Karma off me with urgency.

It was seven months ago when class 3-C students were bullying me. Everyone pretended not to notice except Karma. Karma responded with action and moments later, the class 3-C students were lying on the ground all beaten up.

He gave me his hand that still had bits of blood remaining. I accepted the hand which he then used to pull me up from the ground. It was at that moment that my feelings for Karma started to blossom.

"Nagisa, Nagisa, Nagisa, hello? Still asleep?" I quickly awoke from my recollection of past events with Karma when I heard a voice that sounds like the person I was just reminiscing about.

"Oh. It's nothing. Lets get to school before we miss the next assassination attempt on Koro Sensei." I said as I hid my blush.

Approximately 3 minutes later, Karma and I arrived at the class 3-E classroom separated by a few inches away from each other.

Kaede was the first to greet us as she asked "Why are you two together, Nagisa?"

"We bumped into each other on our way here." I said, faking a smile which made Kaede dismiss the topic.

'Wait why is she relieved?'

'It must be just my imagination.'
