I know I haven't written in here for a while, but here's some old writings I did of Yue and Cinder being a Mom and Daughter Part 1/2

Yue  sat on her bed. A few minutes before she outside climbing a small tree until a branch gave way, causing her to fall and get a small cut on her knee. It wouldn't seem like much, but for a young five year old child, accidents like those could seem very painful.

Yue heard the door open and saw her mother in the doorway looking concerned. Yue smiled. According to her, her mother Selene, or Cinder as her father referred to her as, was the most beautiful, kind and smartest person she knew.

"I heard you had an accident while playing outside. Are you alright?" Cinder said sitting on Yue's bed.

Yue nodded, though really her knee still stung a lot and she felt like she wouldn't be able to walk for a while.

"Are you sure? Cause from what I heard you cried all the way into palace," Cinder replied stroking her hair.

"It just really hurt Mama! It still kinda does! I just...wish I didn't look like such a crybaby...." Yue says, crying a little as much as she didn't want to.

Cinder then picked Yue up and places her in her lap.

"You want me to tell you something Yue?"

Yue nodded.

"You should very thankful for every tear that shed. Because I'll never have a chance to do that. You see, I can't cry because when the doctors were fixing me after I was hurt, I didn't have any tear ducts. Because I couldn't....people always thought of me as....unemotional. That I didn't care about anybody when I did. I tried not to let it get me but.....," the older woman sighed," it would hurt me somewhere deep down in my heart."

Yue could sense the sadness in her mother's tone and frowned, feeling bad. It wasn't fair that her mom couldn't cry and people thought she had no feelings! It wasn't fair she could cry and she couldn't. Yue put her finger up to her cheek, a tear where she was crying and slowly went up to place the tear under her mother's eyelid so it could move down her cheek, doing the same with her other eye.

"Well....maybe I can share my tears with you so we can cry together!"

Cinder smiled and wrapped her little girl in a hug. Yue was such a sweet child, always thinking about others, caring for people, even when she could have a very quick temper. In all honesty, she was just her husband. She was just like _her_ before she died all those years ago, honoring her by making her daughter's middle name her own........
