Insecurities

She too skinny, you're too fat.

People judge you right off the bat.

They place these thoughts in your head.

Which take root and weigh you down, heavy as lead.

What defines perfection, what gives you the key.

To get in the door and take down the walls of insecurities.

She's too tall, you're too short.

Even with that high jump, you're still off the court.

You think you know that you are good,

With the hint of great.

But to push them up, they push you down.

So that in insecurities you will drown.

No.

That is not what I want, nor is it what I believe.

The judgement and restrictions build up and grab you like a hand.

Unbalanced force to balanced force, the simple laws of physics.

What you want is right within reach.

Balance.

Balance out the judgement and hate. The insecurities. The hope, the happiness, the freedom.

Secure them.
