Walking down memory lane
The familiar setting, comforting pain
You always want them, forever
What do you do with them, lose them? Never.
Yet it's in the past, and we are in the present.
Keep a clear mind and don't be hesitant.
Picture after picture after picture after picture.
Wrinkles and old age, becoming mature.
That one close call, when you fell.
Saved you from the wedding bells.
Candles, matches, birthday cake.
Oh boy was it so fun to make.
Sharing caring all that joy.
Acting suave and cool and coy.
Preteen years and puberty.
Growing, voice cracks, all that. Gee!
Walking down memory lane.
Filled with happiness, no pain no gain.
