To Hogwarts! ( Griffondor Version, Reader P.O.V))

The Sorting

We arrived at Hogwarts and it was late. I and my new friends just got out of the train and heard this big man with a beard and trench coat yelling "1st Years! Over here!". me, Hope and Sky went over to be led to boats that we had to take over to the school. Me and Sky got in a boat and rowed over to the docs and climbed out. I was wordless as to the sight of the castle. " WOAH!" said Sky looking up at the castle " I can't believe we're here! This is SO COOL!!" " contain yourself Sky," said Hope " But I'm also pretty excited". After walking into the school we were greeted by a huge door and a witch saying "The start of term banquet will begin shortly, but before you take your seats in the Great Hall, you will be sorted into your houses. The Sorting is a very important ceremony because, while you are here, your house will be something like your family within Hogwarts. You will have classes with the rest of your house, sleep in your house dormitory and spend free time in your house common room.

The four houses are called Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, and Slytherin. Each house has its own noble history and each has produced outstanding witches and wizards. While you are at Hogwarts, your triumphs will earn your house points, while any rule-breaking will lose house points. At the end of the year, the house with the most points is awarded the House Cup, a great honor. I hope each of you will be a credit to whichever house becomes yours. The Sorting Ceremony will take place in a few minutes in front of the rest of the school. I suggest you all smarten yourselves up as much as you can while you are waiting." after a while the doors opened up to reveal a hall that was full of food and magic. " Wow I can't believe it we are here," I said. " I know right " Hope and Sky said at the same time. We walked in and sat by each other and got ready to be called up and sorted. " Hope Valentine," Ms. McGonagall said and Hope got up and went to the sorting hat. And sat down " hmmm...." said the Sorting hat " very Smart... Ravenclaw!" The Ravenclaw table cheered as she went over and sat down. "Skylar Jackson" " I'm up," Sky said as she got up and sat down to be sorted. " very bold and brave... Hmmm, Gryffondor!" the hat said as the Gryffindor table cheered about their new team member. Sky got up and sat down at the Gryffindor table. Then Ms. McGonagall called my name and I got up and sat down to be sorted. As she put the hat on me I could feel it reading me like a book. " hmm interesting very... I'd say... Gryffindor!" I got up and went to the Gryffondor table as they cheered. As ms.McGonagall called all the new 1st years one by one and sorted them. Afterward, Professor Dumbledore said " Attention everybody " and once the Great hall went silent he proclaimed " Let the feast begin!" and everyone began to eat. " We are in the same house who knew!" said Sky " Yeah". After we ate a senior guided us to the Gryffindor common room. We went through a hall and up the stairs that shift and change places. Once we got to the top there was a painting of a lady and she said "password?" the person guiding us said the password then went in. The room was warm and cozy, a place to call home. We went up to where we would be sleeping and we went to bed.
