Unfortunate Serpent

I woke up and got dressed, then I ran downstairs to the common room to see everyone was gone and Sky waiting for me. "C'mon we gotta go we are late!" she said before grabbing my hand running to first class Charms class. We opened the door and took our seats, "you're late" said processor Flitwick. " Sorry sir," I said " sorry, " " its fine just try working on your timing next time" " yes sir" we both said. Then class continued, "now listen carefully class and repeat after me, Lumos" then the entire class repeated it. After that, we were studying in the spells book, I got stumped on a question and asked Sky for help but she shrugged. Then I felt a tap on my shoulder, it was Hope she gave me a note with the answer on it. I whispered "thank you" and then looked at my work. Sky quickly caught on about the spell and she was the first one to get the spell to work. Everyone was amazed by it, "Good job ms. Jackson " said the Professor. After charms class, we went to potions class, we entered to see Professor Snape looking at us as if he was disappointed already. He slowly walked away and said" Good evening class and welcome to Potions class, don't expect me to be nice just because you arrived here yesterday, now take a seat." everyone went to their tables and sat down with their group. There was this one... Unpleasant kid that got partnered up with me and Sky. Named Alva Quinn, he is just... Very... Annoying. But we still have to work with him even though he constantly points things out that are correct and replaces it with false information. Today we brewed the cure for the Boiles, Hope was the first one to get it right. After class Alva told me to Dink the potion he brewed... I said no by he kept on getting in my face and yelling " Try it Try it!" and I finally said "Fine" even though Sky kept shaking her head and saying " No No don't drink it!". But in one swallow I started feeling sick. The nausea was the worst, I excused myself and ran to the bathroom. After getting sick in the bathroom I washed up and started walking to flying class.

While walking I saw a shadow shining through the big window. I looked to see what it was and I saw a kid that looked around my age get knocked out of the air by a student who looked to be 2nd year. The kid lost control of the broom and started heading towards the window. I yelled and jumped over as to not get hit by the kid crashing through the window. I saw the kid fly and hit the wall in the hallway and fell down. " ow...." said the kid, I looked up to see who knocked them out of the air. And it was a 2nd year Gryffindor. The kid had light brown messy hair with eyes that were purple, blue and green and elf ears?. They had a huge green Slytherin scarf and a Slytherin cape drenched over their shoulders. With the school uniform underneath, and we're also bleeding from their forehead. I quickly got up and asked, " are you ok?" " ugh Huh? " the said and looked up at me. " o-oh um yeah I'm fine just probably a concussion" " then we should get you to the infirmary immediately!" I said with a worried tone in my voice. " oh no i-its fine this is typical for me..." they rubbed their forehead and saw blood on their hand. " or maybe I do..." Madam Hooch flew above the window that was just shattered and signaled the 2nd year away. Madam Hoock flew down " my word are you ok?" she asked then she saw the Kids condition. " oh no um you! Yes, you 1st year" " me?" "yes, you take this child to the infirmary I need to do something really quick then I will be right there" "yes ma'am, " I said as I helped the kid up and helped them to the infirmary. As we got to the infirmary I helped them onto the infirmary bed. When I did that the nurse rushed right over. " you again?!" she said, " this is the 2nd time today Cypher" " sorry, these things happen a lot". " I will be right back I need to get patches" she walked away to get some patches for Cyphers wounds. " So your name is Cypher?" " actually its Cyprian but that's fine I guess, what's your name?". " my name is [name] " " well nice to meet you, sorry about the crash" " I'm fine it's just the window I worry about". " yeah that kinda stuff happens a lot, I swear I'm cursed heh..." the Nurse came back and patched them up then we left.
