"Oh my God...", Perrie muttered, her fists holding clumps of her hair, her eyes wide as she looks at Liam's un-moving body on the floor.

"Come on, Perrie.", Jesy demands, losing her patience because Perrie has been standing in the same position for the past 5 minutes.

"You just...Liam...he's...you killed Liam?!"

Jesy sighs, smacking her forehead with the palm of her hand out of frustration. "Yes, I did. Now, can we move on?!" She reaches forward and grabs the blonde's pale wrist, leading her out of the back storage room so they could get out of the library before someone finds out about the boys death.

"Oh my God, oh my God, oh my God...we're murderers!", the girl whispers as Jesy leads the way.

"Will you stop making a big deal out of this?"

"We just killed someone!"

"Correction, I killed someone, not 'we'. Second, it's what had to be done."

"Why did it have to be done?!"

"Look, Perrie, our top priority right now is saving Jade. Yet you're worrying about that little prick?"

"He's been my best friend for a long time-"

"He was never your friend, Perrie!" Perrie just blinks, confusion swirling around in her blue orbs, making Jesy sigh in pity. "Sure he may not have be one of the Seven Devils, but he was still a devil. He would've stopped at nothing to make sure you didn't get anywhere near Jade, because that's what he was ordered to do. He may have seemed like he cared for you, but he never did. His heart was filled with pure evil. He would've just been another thing to worry about if I didn't kill him just now."

It's quiet for a while, so Jesy takes that as a sign to start moving forward again. The two of them walk out of the library like nothing happened, like Jesy didn't just murder Liam in the storage room, and like Perrie didn't just witness it all happen.

Once in Perrie's car, the devil notices that the blonde has a tear running down her cheek, her head hung low. She frowns a bit, waiting for the girl to say what's on her mind.

"What did I do to deserve this?", she whispers, running a hand through her blonde locks.

"It's your destiny.", Jesy simply replies, and Perrie glances up at her. "You're an angel...and more specifically, you're supernatural. All of these things are happening because that's what goes on in our world. You never knew you were like this, so that's why you've never noticed these supernatural beings around you. But now that you know, your eyes are now opened to the things around you. But you'll be fine, Perrie...trust me."

"Thanks Jesy...I really owe you for saving me back there."

"You're welcome. Though, I'm confused. Why didn't you just save yourself?"

"What do you mean?"

Jesy stares at the blonde like she's crazy, and Perrie sends the same look back.

"You don't know?"

"Know what?!"

"That you have powers?" Perrie's eyes widen, her jaw dropping open as Jesy just raises an eyebrow at her. "I'll take that as a 'yes'."

"I have powers!?", the blonde asks, her sadness and gloominess instantly vanishing, being replaced with pure excitement.

"Well, yes. The Lord gave us devils powers...so it would only make sense that he'd give his angels powers as well, right?"
