★彡 CHAPTER SIX;
TRADING MONSTERS

WHAT DO YOU FEEL?

            How can she explain the chaos rising in her mind, the never ending roars tearing her within leaving her defenseless. Looking in the mirror hadn't been something she enjoyed anymore, all Adam sees is a toy too broken to be fixed, a toy that has been jerked into different events of chaos and tossed into a corner when they're done. And she can't do a single thing about it.

TELL ME WHAT'S THAT LIKE

It's like hell. She's alone, no bothers anymore because they're sick of hearing her sob story. Strangers would ask how a pretty girl like her got bruised like that but then they'd cover their ears when it gets too much and say their sorry but it does nothing, their apologies meaningless. It doesn't ease her feeling ashamed for letting yourself get knocked down tortured by your own mind.

Like right now; she knows he deserve ever bad luck in the book for the abuse he's put her family through, he let her watch her mother get slapped over the silliest thing. He forces her to stand in a corner and watch her mother turn black and blue then walk away like it was a job well done leaving her to pick up the pieces at ten years old, then come back down like it was natural order.

But right now he's on the verge of dying. Would it make her as malevolent as him if she stood by and watched him? She wants him to burn in hell for what he put her through, to spend an eternity feeling what he put herself and her mother through. She has a right to feel that way, she shouldn't feel remorseful for him.

Then why does she?

A sinister smirk laid on the ebony beauty not bothered by her father's blood on her face, in fact she seemed to be bored. A loud grunt escaped his lips as the Beast stabbed his abdomen.

"Any day I'd love to give you demonstration on the body but," Her lips pursed yanking her knife from his abdomen turning her head neglecting the frightened brunette and stood up, "Since we're in alleyway where anyone can see us, we have to go."

"Di did you just is he," She bit her bottom almost afraid to say the word determining this is in fact is reality and her father is "De dead."

             Her nose scrunched glimpsing back at the abusive man soon to be dying alone in a dirty alleyway. "He deserves worse but, my house doesn't have a basement. Yet." A smile bloomed on her lips finding the situation entertaining, Adam realized this probably isn't her first kill.

             Her eyes glossed and her heart thundered in her ears. She left one monster behind only to land in the arms of another.

            "You didn't have to do that." Adam whimpered trying to tune out the man besides her, her feet felt numb and her sides stung she needed ice and some rest but how could she with a killer looming over her. Also known as her hero. "We we could have called the police."

           Her hazel browns landed on her clenched fist and prepared for another beating. But the Beast scoffed crouching before her meeting her horrified hazel brown eyes. "Men like him wouldn't last long before they're released, then what will you do? Let him back into your life and destroy once again, and you'll let him because love is a god damn weakness and the sooner you understand, the easier it'll get, buttercup. Now, get up before I make you."

            Adam would rather be anywhere but near her but her tone dared her to disobey. And she wasn't much if a risk taker.
