"Who said I was done?"

Recognize: Batman 02

I turned to the sound of a robotic woman and turned to the two tubes as one of them began to glow and a man dressed in all black and dressed like a bat walked out of it.

"Who is this?"

"I'm Annie Stark. Who are you?" I asked, my brown eyes glaring at the newcomer. He turned to the rest of the group with a darkened glare.

"Explain." He said simply and Robin waved his hand and a hologram-like dad's computer showed up with a security feed of the cave. He rewound it to before I arrived and pressed play.

It showed the cave being empty for a few seconds before a blue portal popped up in the middle of the room and a girl with brown hair dropping out of it. The girl was me. After a few minutes, I woke up and I had my panic attack and now we are here.

"I don't think I'm from around here. My father is Tony Stark. In my world, he is one of the most famous men in the world. He's a part of a team of superheroes called the Avengers. They're my family and if you don't mind I would like some help getting home." I said and hung my head. "I-I don't know if my dad is okay. He disappeared before a monster attacked my planet. I need to find a way to contact my dad or even his team. Just something so that I know that he is okay." I looked up at Batman, my eyes glistening. He sighed and turned to Robin.

"She will stay here while I figure out a way to contact her world." He turned back to me. "Until I do, you will train with the team. You said you fought with a team. I will send Black Canary to evaluate you later. For now, get comfortable. You might be here for a while." I nodded and he walked back through the tunnel and disappeared with a light.

"So since you are probably going to join the team, what can you do?" Kid Flash asked. I smirked, which made him shiver. "That is about as creepy as Rob's laugh."

"I could tell you what I can do... or I could show you." I smiled and leaned down and laid my hand on the ground closing my eyes. I felt a pulse of electricity pulse through me and bottle up, waiting to be released. It was different from when I usually do it. Maybe this earth vibrates at a different frequency...

I stood up and opened my eyes and felt the spark in my eyes and the smirk on Kaldur's face proved my eyes we now electrified and blue.

"That is cool, but can you only change your eyes?" Kid asked and I smiled.

"Who said I was done?" I brought my hands up above my head and created a ball of energy that was bottled up and dropped it and my hair started to change. It picked up and became like my eyes. Each stand was like a single electric current, I could feel the energy pulsing through me and I had to admit, it felt amazing. As the now ring of energy continued down, my natural makeup changed to a light blue that contrasted against my eyes and blue peachy lips became the matching blue.

As I dropped my arms, the ring of energy began to change my clothes. My once causal jeans and black tank top changed as the ring rolled down my body. It was replaced by a black leather jacket and a dark blue corset that laced up in the front and white biker gloves appeared on my hands. My jeans changed to white armored leggings and my converse became dark blue combat boots as the ring absorbed into my shoes.

I breathed and calmly stared at the group in front of me who all looked at me in awe.

"Well Kid," My voice had changed. It had a small vibration in it, masking it. "Is this good enough for you?" I asked and he moved his mouth but nothing came out. I smiled and shook my head. "I'd like to show you my actual abilities, but I will need a target." Artemis smacked Kid on the back of the head and walked toward me.

"Yeah, I'll show you to the range since Kid Idiot is still drooling." I laugh and follow her and as we leave with the others I hear Kid yell after us.

"I wasn't drooling!" I laughed and we finally reached the range where there were multiple targets. It reminded me of when Clint would take me for shooting practice after school before everything happened. I frowned.

Stop dwellin' in the past.

My eyes widened and my head shot up. I looked around at the others and they didn't look like that had heard anything so I just ignored the voice. I walked up to the edge of the range, a few yards away from one of the targets and let the energy flow to my hands. I watched as sparks pricked my fingertips and I breathed looking up at the target.

I quickly lifted my hand and electricity flew out of my fingers, hitting the target in the center, leaving a charred mark. I did it again but turned and aimed at another target besides me and hit it in the center, same as the other one. I continued shooting target after target, letting tension and stress leave my body with each shot. By the time I was done, I had hit every target in the room dead center. I breathed out, my shoulders going up and down with every breath.

Doesn't it feel good to get all that off your shoulders?

I sighed.

Go away.

No. You don't have your pills to make me go away now. You're stuck with me.

"Yeah," Robin's voice pulled me from my conversation, drawing me back to reality. "I think that you will make a great addition to the team." He said and I smiled.

Look at you, making new friends.

"You must be the new recruit." A woman said from the doorway. I turned to face her and got a good look at her. She had long blonde hair and wore fishnet leggings and a cool looking jacket.

"Yeah, I'm Annie," I told her walking to stand next to the others. As I walked I snapped my fingers and my original clothes returned and my hair and eyes turned back to their beautiful brown. She smirked and walked up to stand in front of us all and to say she looked cool would be an understatement.

"Black Canary. Well, I think I've seen enough. You will start training with the team and will be on intensive training for two months, then you will join the team on missions. Understood?" I nodded and she smiled. "Welcome to the team." I smiled and turned to the others and seen they were smiling too. "I suggest you all spend tonight getting aquatinted with your new teammate. I'll see you all tomorrow for training." We all waved her goodbye and she left.

"So... what are your names?"
