"Oh my gosh, Harry Styles waved at me!" I heard a random girl scream from behind me during the concert. I rolled my eyes, sharing a look with Alley. All five boys walked to the edge, which was right in front of Alley and I. Alley screamed and I winced, just smiling up. Liam and I locked eyes and he smiled down at me, winking. Alley slapped me when they walked along the stage. "Ow, bish!" I mimicked. She made a face and said, "Liam just winked at you!" I shrugged. "Like he does everyone else in the crowd?" I glanced over my shoulder, listening to the 11 year old freak out because she swore he winked at her, even though he was looking straight down at me. Alley spun around and stepped closer to the girl. "Hey, why don't you just shut up? He was winking at my friend here, someone prettier than you and closer in age to Liam and all the boys. Grow up. 11 year olds shouldn't even be here, in my opinion, and this is why: you tick off others by your fangirling. Liam was winking at my friend, and Harry waved to this section as a whole. Get over yourself."

I looked at her in shock as "Little Black Dress" began to blare in the speakers next to me. "What?" Alley snapped. I chuckled and shook my head. "Nothing, nothing, Mom." Alley rolled her eyes. "She was making me mad, okay? I meant what I said about her not even being here. Some of these lyrics get a little too sexual for eight year olds to 13 year olds," Alley pointed out. I agreed, and we turned back to the stage, enjoying the rest of the concert, while the girl never made another sound. When the last chord was played, 5SOS raided the stage and all of them collaborated "Don't Stop" and "Live While We're Young" to close out the concert.

Awhile after the concert ended, Alley and I were escorted to a room backstage where there was food of every kind, two couches and two beanbags, and a television playing "This Is Us". I went straight for the food and grabbed some strawberries. "Elaine! They might need that for after-concert eating so they don't have to go out." I shrugged. "Oops," I said, obviously not caring. As soon as I finished, the door opened and One Direction walked in, minus Harry and Liam. "Hey, you two are the lucky girls for tonight then?" Louis asked eagerly and politely. I nodded. "Yeah, I'm Elaine, and that's Alley," I said, pointing to Alley. Harry and Liam walked in right then. "Liam, Harry, this is Alley and Elaine.... I'm sorry we didn't hear a last name?" I waved him off. "It's not that important, really," I said.

"Oh, come on," Zayn pressed. I laughed. "Why does it matter?" Alley asked. "Yeah, I mean, we're just two fans out of millions you'll see, talk to, and meet before your tour is over," I said, finishing her sentence. Niall grinned. "Well maybe we don't want that. Maybe we wanna actually get to know you," he said, winking at Alley, who then giggled. I glanced at Harry, who was focused on his phone. "So, great show guys," I said, trying to break the silence as Alley and Niall stared at each other. Liam coughed. "Yeah, thanks. So, let's sit?" Zayn suggested. Alley and I stepped towards the two-seater couch. Louis sat in the beanbag but Harry remained standing.

"Haz, gonna sit?" Niall asked impatiently. "Huh?" Harry asked, finally looking up from his phone. He turned to us, looking at us expectantly. "Um, yes?" I asked, wondering if he recognised me. "That's where Lou and I sit." I froze, and I know Alley was watching me carefully. "Right. Well, I gotta go to the bathroom. You can sit here, then," I said to Harry coldly, bumping his shoulder as I walked past him. Alley stood but I motioned for her to stay. I went to the nearest restroom and stared at my reflection in the mirror before splashing some cold water on my face, trying to calm down every emotion within me. I readjusted my outfit and attitude before walking out to the hall. "Hey! Whoa, slow down!" I heard someone say as I collided with a group of boys. I quickly stood and brushed dirt off myself, mumbling an embarrassed "Sorry".

As I turned, one grabbed my arm, turning me around. I then realised it was 5 Seconds of Summer that I had just practically plowed over.
