"Probably stick together, for survival," Owen had said. Claire was just standing in the hallway, confused but smiling, when Owen walked outside. She decided to follow him. Owen started talking to a guy she didn't know, but she didn't care either. She just wanted to take a shower, change her clothes to something comfortable and go to sleep. Owen turned his head a bit and when he saw her staring, he smiled at her. It gave her a warm, pleasant feeling. A shy hey next to her took her attention for Owen away. "Lowery," she said voice soft but with surprise. "I'm glad you're still alive," he said. She smiled a bit. "Me too," she answered and looked back at Owen who was already talking to someone else. "I didn't know you were such a badass," Lowery said. Claire let out a little laugh. "Let us just say that being chased by dinosaurs makes you do unusual things." She looked at the guy next to him. Lowery nodded with a little laugh. "I'm sorry for being so rude to you before," Claire said. "It's okay," Lowery answered, "but I have to say, I thought it was suicide, letting out that T. Rex." Claire looked at him, not saying anything, because she knew how right he was. "It all ended well, that's what counts right now," he then added. He gave her a little pat on the back and went back inside. "There's a plane in an hour at the nearest airport," Owen said while walking up to Claire. "Sounds great," she said. "But seriously, what do we do now?", she asked again. "Take that plane," Owen said with a smirk. Claire sighed with a laugh. "You have a house in New York, haven't you?", he asked. She nodded. "I do," she replied. "Do you mind if I crash at your place.... for some time?" She thought about it for a bit. "I don't," she said and hugged the man in front of her. The blanket she wore didn't make it easy, but she just wrapped it around Owen as well. He wrapped his arms around her and pulled her closer to him, laying his chin on her head. He sighed and felt how his body finally relaxed. Claire closed her eyes. She finally felt safe. When they stood there, enjoying the moment, Owen saw a woman walking up to them. Her hair was more blond, she seemed a little older, but looked definitely like Claire. She smiled at him. Not knowing what to do, he smiled back. He pulled him and Claire apart. She was a little confused and looked him in the eyes. "I guess there is someone for you," he said and pointed to someone behind them. Claire turned around. "Hey, Karen," she said, a little shy. "Hey, sis," she said back. They hugged each other. "I couldn't find you in here," her sister said. "I'm so sorry," was the only thing Claire could say to her sister. She cried a bit. "It's alright," Karen said. She rubbed a hand over her sister's back and whispered the same words again. "It's alright." "You'll never let me see the boys again, isn't it?", Claire asked with an emotional voice. Karen pulled them apart and cupped her sister's cheeks while looking in her eyes. She wiped some tears away with her thumbs. "Shhhh... Listen to me, Claire, this wasn't your fault and you did everything to save my boys." Karen sounded emotional as well. "And the most important thing is that you and the boys are still alive and that you all made it out safely." She hugged her little sister again. "I don't want to disturb or anything, but I guess we should go for that plane, we still need to make it to the airport," Owen said. Karen looked at the guy and wiped her tears off. "Good point," she said, but turned to her sister again. "Are you going to introduce me or do I just need to call him Mister handsome?" Owen laughed. Claire smiled a bit, while wiping some tears off as well. "This is Owen," she said and looked at him. "Owen, this is my sister, Karen." "Hi," he said and gave her a hand. "Nice to meet you," Karen said. Claire saw in Karen's eyes that she wanted to ask so much more, but Claire's eyes just said: "I'm too tired, please not now." So Karen didn't ask anything more, but only said: "Mom called." Eyes wide, Claire looked at Karen. "She and dad saw the news," she added. Claire slapped her hand for her mouth. Their parents would be so in shock. "Oh, God," the redhead said. "I told them that everything is alright now, but please, can you call them back as soon as possible?" Claire nodded instinctively, but she was sure she would forget. "Mom?" Gray ran towards them. "We need to leave now if we want to catch that plane." Karen turned around. "We just wanted to come to you," she said and walked up to her son. She placed her arm around his shoulders. Claire and Owen followed. Owen laid his arm around Claire's waist and the only thing she did was smile a little and lay her hand on his.
