25💎 (Season 7 LGBTQ+ Rant)

Can I fucking rant?! By the way if you HAVEN'T seen season 7 yet or most of it (meaning up to episode 9 or preferably 10) then don't read this chapter just yet because I'm going to spoil some parts of the show. Even though I consider them to be minor, I wouldn't want to make someone not to watch the season no more because I spoiled something and you won't get that same feel as if you're watching it fresh.

Anyways LET ME RANT SIS! AND I HAVE RECEIPTS

To be honest, I'm upset how Dreamworks baited most people who was watching the show (including myself) to make us think they will really show at least ONE LGBTQ+ relationship more often with their various tweets and interviews. At more towards the beginning, Dreamworks informed that the LGBTQ+ community will be represented in the upcoming episodes of Voltron by at least one couple. Many think the couple would be Keith and Lance because of their bonding and such changed their relationship to make them at least leaning towards closer friends. BUT IN THIS NEW SEASON, they are back where they were in the beginning. Like...it doesn't make sense that Keith still sees Lance as an annoying teammate after they connected and learned that they make a great team together. Instead they give us Allurance (Allura x Lance).

Honestly Dreamworks can do whatever the fuck they like with the romance and plot of the show but do it really make sense to have Allurance now?? For more than 5 seasons, Allura has actively shown she has no interest in Lance at all. In fact Allura had more interest in Lotor, but because of them realizing his true intentions now she wants to move onto Lance? That doesn't look good. Plus Lance used the same line he used on Keith (We make a good team) on Allura and it's just like... why are they a couple when he said the same thing to Keith?
