❦ Plan your story before jumping straight in. I MEAN IT. YOU'LL BE THANKFUL YOU DID.
You don't have to plan the whole entire story but the key parts of it. I would mainly think of a beginning, middle and end. The start of the story is the most important since it's whats gonna get a reader hooked so make sure it's interesting.
Writers block is the WORST. If you don't have a clear idea, there's a 99% chance you're gonna hit writers block. Sometimes, it's difficult too overcome. I'v been through of it plenty of times, even pulling an all nighter because I was stuck and frustrated (That's my own fault...)
Sometimes i'll think of something I want to happen in the story later on and then think of smaller ideas and work my way up to that point but i'm not the best and dealing with it. Sometimes I just cry... but we're all human.
