We approached the school and it was much bigger than I expected it to be. As we walked in the main entrance all students were directed to the Commons where they were sent into lines to get the schedules and locker information. I was beyond excited to see so many people, there had to be easily over a thousand people in this school. Rose stood next to me and we walked to get our stuff together. We had lockers next to each other, mostly because we had the same last name being sisters and all, and we even had two classes together and lunch together. This was going to be fun.

"Can you sense them?" Rose asked as I could see she was on edge with her emotions. Her wolf was not enjoying being around all these people, especially humans. Her wolf loved to run free and she couldn't here.

"Yeah, must be a lot of them. Wonder how many are in this school."

"Your father said there was almost two hundred other wolves in this school. Most in the pack, but some were families of outsiders he granted permission to attend here in their times of need."

"Why would my father tell you and not us?" Rose said out of curiosity and slight anger towards Shawn.

"Because he wanted us to be able to take care of you properly but he didn't want you two to be hunting down every wolf in this school." Marco said to answer her.

"You knew too?" She said even more annoyed.

"Let's not stress over it and just enjoy that were here and we are able to be normal teens for once."

"Definitely." And with that we headed off to our lockers. We had nothing to put in them yet but since we had never really had to worry about lockers, we wanted to make sure we could open and use ours properly. It was fairly easy, we just had to be careful not to break them with our wolf strength, we were used to reinforced steel so we couldn't break it as easy. Now it was time to find our classes. Although this school was fairly large, it was pretty easy to find our way around. Let's see:

1 - Math (Pre-Algebra {A6})

2 - Foreign Language (French {B11})

3 - English (Creative Writing {A3})

4 - Physical Education (Weight Training {Gym B})

5 - Science (Biology {C6})

6 - Visual Art (Photography {A14})

7 - Social Studies (World History {D13})

8 - Family and Consumer Science (Nutrition {C9})

Shouldn't be too hard, this school was big but easy to navigate. I headed down Hall A to room  6. Math, my least favorite subject. I was never good at math, science was my strong subject. I made my way in and sat down, Shawn following right behind me. He sat down behind me so he could keep a good eye on me. Why did they have to give me math so early in the morning. This was going to suck. The bell rang and shortly after the teacher walked in. He introduced himself and handed out the course syllabus. Since I was new to school in general I began to read it. All it was was an explanation of the class, things we would cover and the basic rules that this teacher followed in his classroom. He then told us a little about himself and had us all do the same.

"My name is Ruby, and I was home schooled until this year."

"Well Ruby, welcome to our school. I hope you feel welcome." he said with a smile.

While I spoke everyone's eyes were on me, and it was such a strange feeling. I didn't like how they all stared at me, it made me slightly uncomfortable. But I would have to learn that feeling soon  anyways. He then passed out our textbooks and a workbook that we would be using on almost a daily basis. Why did we need all this for school and why did we have to carry it, why couldn't we just store our things in the classroom.
