Unexpected Love

Chapter 4

Today was the night of the Party and I was so excited. I got up before Marcus did and showered then made him breakfast this time. I made him a Spanish dish..Egg and Serrano cups with Red salsa. I made something that we can eat and that isn't very messy at all. I went upstairs to wake him up and he was sitting up in bed looking around.

Marcus: There you are!

me: You were looking for me?

Marcus: Yea..I thought you left me because I had this weird dream...don't leave me

Me: Oh I'm sorry...I didn't mean to scare you.

Marcus: Just don't leave

We got ready for school and left out and made it to school in time. He kissed me at my locker and went to first period. Hannah was there.

Me: Hey Hannah

She turned around and had a bunch of make up over her eye that looked swollen.

me: WHAT HAPPENED!!

Hannah: What you mean girl

I could tell she was high and maybe even had a little to drink before she came. I took her out the class and to the bathroom.

me: look..I don't know what happened but I suggest you speak now!

Hannah:....he hit me

me: Tyrell?

Hannah: Yea..I had messed up one of his orders and he hit me. He threw me out and I went to one of my other friends house and stayed there for the night. I got high to ease the pain. But don't worry I know he loves me.

Me: Why don't you leave him! He does nothing good for you and does not love you!

Hannah: I FIGURED YOU WOULD SAY THAT BECUSE YOU DONT UNDERSTAND!! HE LOVES ME AND HE DOES MUCH MORE THAN MARCUS DOES!

ME: ARE YOU CRAZY! IF YOU THINK BEATING YOU AND KEEPING YOU ON DRUGS AND MAKING YOU DO LATE NIGHT RUNS FOR HIM IS DOING MORE THAN MARCUS DOES THAN YES HE DOES!!! WAKE UP!! ITS THE REAL WORLD HANNAH!!! HE DOESNT LOVE YOU!!!

I walked out the bathroom and I heard her crying but I know I had to tell her now. If she thinks that's love she's wrong. She'll end up dead one day and still think that's love. I couldn't deal with her right now. Especially when I'm dealing with a lot on my plate right now. I wasn't gonna let her ruin my day. I went to second period and soon it was time for lunch.

Marcus: Hey baby *kissed me on the lips*

Cole: Ayy chill with all that. We don't need to see that.

me: gosh..

Prince: Yea..especially cause my baby's not here

me: why didn't she come to school

Prince: Well because the parties tonight she just didn't come

me: Ohhh ok ok...you still sad

Prince: Yea *says with puppy dog eyes and his bottom lip sticking out*

Marcus: *laughs*

Me: babe..stop..this is serious *starts to laugh*

Prince: Wow..now you see why I hate you guys.

me: Its just love Prince

Lunch was over and science was next. I kept messing with Marcus the whole time and we had a war with paper balls. Three more periods went by and it was time to get ready for the big party. I kissed Marcus bye and told him I would see him at the party. I took the bus home today and when I got home my brother was the only one home.
