Unexpected Love

Chapter One

Alex P.o.v

I woke up to the sun in my eyes and a cold room. My room always gets cold if you keep the fan on high. It's a bitter sweet, I need the fan because its hot but makes me cold in the morning. I hopped out of bed and ran to the bathroom. I took my shower and did my hygiene routine and threw on some black jeans and a white top. My hair was in a bun and I threw on my Infared Jordans. Then grabbed my bag and headed downstairs. My mom was sitting at the table waiting for me.

mom: Good morning hun

me: Good morning mom...do I have time

mom: You have about 15 minutes so whatever you make it needs to be quick

me: I'll just grab a Special K bar and we can go.

I grabbed the bar and went out to the car.

When I got to school I felt someone tap me on my shoulder. I turned around and it was my best friend in the whole wide world Hannah.

Hannah: Hey Chickita

me: *laughs* Hey Hannah

She's always called me that becuase I'm technically Spanish because my family follows Spanish traditions but I'm white and Spanish but she's always liked to call me Chickita. We went to first period and talked the whole time. I ended up getting a detention but I didn't really care. Mrs. Drell has never liked me.

Hannah: Wow.. you actually gonna go to the detention?

me: Yea.. what else can I do?

Hannah: Just don't go..and come with me and Tyrell instead.

Hannah's boyfriend is a 23 year old drug dealer and is known where we live. When I found out she actually started to go out with him I was mad at her. She's 17 and and can have a future ahead of her but chose to run the streets with him.

me: No no no I'm fine I'm just gonna go and serve it.

Hannah: Why would you ?

me: So I don't get a Saturday detention for twice as long

Hannah: Wow..your so different from me.

We walked to the caftereia and met up with the rest of the squad. There was 7 of us including me and Hannah. There's Marcus who 17 and likes me and takes me out at times but when he found out I was bisexual he got mad and we didn't talk for like 3 months. Taylor whose 16 and is dating Cole whose 16 too and have been together for a year and a half. Then there's Jay who is loud and doesn't take shit from anyone and she will beat anyone up who challenges her. Last but not least Prince so we call him because he acts like a prince and reminds us of Princeton from Mindless Behavior. He's single and he likes Jay and Jay likes him but they are in the mist of going out and talking.

Jay: Hey guys!!

me: Heyyy!!

Prince: Shut up with all that yelling its uncalled for.

me: Oh shut up Prince that was uncalled for.

Hannah: Yea it was...just a little

Marcus: Hey Alex..come here

me: what is it?

Marcus: *starts to whisper in my ear but picks me up* She's coming with me yall

Cole: Don't do nothing slick!

He took me out to his car and put me in the front passenger seat.

me: Why did you kidnap me

Marcus: I got something for you..here..open it.
