I set Kaden in my bed and pulled the brown and blue covers up to his stomach. Karma was laying against his side with her face on his chest, I walked towards the door and softly shut it.

Dan stayed by the door and acted like a body guard outside of a club, each time I went up stairs for the bathroom he would sniff me up and down then would sit back down.

"Holden? Are you home, Sweetie?" a voice called from the kitchen, "Come help me, please?" I got up from the couch and jogged into the kitchen to see my mom with Walmart bags on each arm. I quickly took the bags and set them on the table.

There was a knock on the door then it was opened "Ayeo? second family?" the voice said and I looked at my mom weird "Come in, Devon." she said cheerily.

Devon walked in with a black Crown The Empire tank top on and white short, ripped shorts. "Chick, it is winter, why?" I asked and she rolled her eyes "I wanted to show off my tat, dork!" she messed up my hair and set her black cat bag on the table.

"Sweats are in your third drawer right?" she asked while fixing her ginger hair, I nodded and pointed towards my door. She did a thumbs up and I turned towards my mom, I quickly spun back around but Devon was at the top of the stairs.

"Devon!" I whisper shouted, but she slowly opened the door then quickly closed it. I pinched the top of my nose while Devon made a small squeal and jogged down the stairs.

"Holden's gotta a boy in his bed!" she squealed again and I covered her mouth "He just came out of the hospital, shuttup!"

my mom looked at me surprised and I groaned "Kaden fell asleep in my lap the way here, so I put him in my room, is that such a crime?" she made an 'o' shape with her mouth and Devon smiled "He's the cute, bad boy one, right?" my mom nodded with a thumbs up and I glared at both of them.

"Stay away from him." I said and she rolled her eyes "Oh hush, you two hate each other." "That's what you think.." I mumbled and my mom hit me with a box.

"How rude." I protested and she threw a banana at me "Rude!" I shouted and she gave me a smile before shooing me into the Living room.

"Devon, get away from the door! he's not going to be happy." I snapped and she glared at me from the stairs "I still have my chance!"

"Not in that outfit, he likes sweaters.. and guys." I laid out on the couch and turned on the tv to Adventure time, Karma was laying behind me and Dan was in front.

Every once in a while I would pet them and scratch Karma behind her ears, there was a small cough and I looked up at Devon.

She had her bright ginger hair pushed to the side with my black tight sweater and grey jeans, "How do I look? Gothic enough?" I rolled my eyes and she sat with her legs propped up on my knees.

We played the xbox for a while, her out living me at Zombies on Call Of Duty. Then we played a racing game, which I won. Then back to Call Of Duty. "Are you staying here for the night?" my mom asked Devon and she shrugged "Might as well, I'll get some of your clothes."

She hit my arm and jogged into my room, I played the game for awhile then Kaden started yelling. I ran up the stairs and into my room to see Devon holding my shirt over her chest and Kaden had his head buried into a pillow.

"Kade, hey? you okay?" I petted his hair and Devon huffed "He saw! He saw them!" "So has the football, Soccer, and Baseball teams." I said and she shut her mouth and gave a small shrug.

I love her to death, but her sluttiness has gone spiral since middle school. Kaden stood up and grabbed his bag before storming out, I walked into the hall and saw him walking towards the front door.

"Kaden!" I ran down the stairs and grabbed his arm "I didn't ask to come here." he harshly spat, "I don't care." I said and he yanked his arm away, "Kade.. just please." I rested my forehead on his, our noses touching.

his breathing hitched and I closed the gap between our lips, he kissed back and I wrapped my arms around his waist. he pulled back and kept his eyes closed.

"Im falling in love with you, Kaden.." I stated and softly kissed his nose, "That's a bad thing to do." he said, finally opening his bright blue eyes. "I don't care." I mumbled against his lips, and kissed him again.
