Why do people think it's okay to use religion to hurt people? What if people believe differently? You can't just shame people for that. Even young kids are influenced at a young age that "oh gays are bad" and stuff. But that's just ones in the bible. What about all the other ones that are committed all the time? Like, wearing mixed fabrics, living in the same house as a woman on her period, anything like that. I don't see people shamed for that.
God loves all his children people, get over it.
