Dear Jack,
At exactly 6:30pm, the time you are meant to be meeting with this 'nobody,' you tell me that your Mum needs help at home. I ask if I can come with you and you hesitantly decline. This is it.
You get in your car and drive off. I watch through the window, hoping that you will take the left turn... the one that goes to your mother's house and not the right turn. The turn that leads you to the meadow where we had our first kiss, and our first date. The place you told Brittany to meet you for a romantic picnic and to watch the sunset.
You turn right.
