Chapter 14

"I-I think his heart stopped be-beating" Jen cried. It felt like my heart got ripped out of my chest when she said that.
"No, no he - he can't" it took a couple of seconds before my brain understood what actually happened. He's, he's dead? No he can't be! He's just not!
We waited outside in what felt like hours. Then one of the nurses came out.
"What happened to him" Sophia asked.
"So, you might already have figured out that his heart stopped beat..."
"Can we see him" I cut her off
"I'm not sure, I have to talk to the doct..."
"Please"
"I have to talk to the doctor" she said and gave me a annoyed look "anyways, we managed to bring him back, but he needs to rest"
Another nurse came out.
"Is someone here called Elisabeth" she said
"Elisabet, Yeah, that's me"
"Can you come with me please" she said
"Sure" I said and looked at Jen and Sophia, they nodded.
I followed the nurse.
"He keep on repeating your name" she said.
I couldn't help smiling.
"Well, that's....good?"
"Yeah, but we can't really contact with him" she said we went inside.
I sat dawn beside him.
"El-isa-bet" he whispered
"Hey" I whispered back and took his hand. It didn't take long but soon enough he opened his eyes.
"Omg, Joey!" I said
"Where am I? Is this haven" he looked around
"No, you're alive, you're at the hospital"
"Wait, what"
"Yeah, you took suicide remember" a tear fell down my cheek. He looked on his left wrist.
"Oh yea, I remember" he whispered "I'm sorry"
"For what? Scaring the hell out of all of us?"
*laughs*
"I've never said this but you're really hot do you know that"
"I should go, I'll tell your mom and.....Uh... Sophia that you're.. Uh you know" I laughed.
I hugged him quick before walked out.
"He's alive" I said to Soph and Jen
"Thank god" Jen said and they started walking to his room.
I called Payton on my way home.

Next week - Friday:
Payton and Eli visited Joey after school almost every day, they studied with him and helped him catch up as much as possible. Now it was time for him to go home.
Everyone at school talked about what happened, they didn't know how people got to know but it didn't really matter.

Eli and Payton walked through the hallway. Everyone was whispering about them but they were used to it.
"So Joey is actually coming back today" a girl asked
"Yes" Eli said and the girls face lighted up.
Suddenly Eli's phone rang. It was Joey.
"Hey what's up"
"Can you meet me outside? I don't really wanna go inside by my self"
"Yeah sure we'll be there in a minute"
"Oh, no, just you. I want to talk to you about something too"
"Uh, Okay" we hang up
I told Payton to wait there and then I went to meet up with Joey.

Sorry this chapter is really bad but it's gonna get better I promise<33
