Cuddling with Jung Kook felt amazing. He wrapped his arms around you and kept planting small kisses on the top of your head. All you wanted to do was curl up into his side and stay forever in bed. You felt your heart flutter, beating at an unhealthy pace. Everything was s peaceful and warm, and overwhelmingly nice, it fel surreal. For seconds, you almost believed, this could be reality. He felt so real against your own body. His heat comforting and soothing. You pressed yourself closer to him, if that was even possible, trying to enjoy it as long as it lasted.

The only problem was the elephant in the room. You still haven't spoken about your relationship or whatever it was. There were things to discuss, because so far, you haven't done too much of that. Actually, paying some mind to it, you realized, you never actually got to discuss this whole situation.

"Jung Kook..." you spoke, voice cranky and almost raspy. You untangled yourself from him and set up right next to him. The singer looked up, unspoken questions making his gaze darker.

"Is this the point where you give me the talk about how we can't be together because of the distance and the age gap?" the singer asked, and you weren't sure what to answer.

"Should we have that conversation?" you asked hesitantly, fingers fidgety and suddenly so, so cold.

"I would really love to, because I actually need to tell you a few things myself." The boy sounded so serious, no sign of the whining mess he was half an hour ago. He sat up, straightened his posture and suddenly looked more demanding, sure of himself.

"Then, you go first," you shrugged, trying to avoid eye contact.

"I don't want us to stop talking to each other," he began, looking every bit an adorable nugget. "I think, at this point we realized that this will not really work as anything else than friendship. You have your things back in the States, I have my things in Korea and it would be too much. We don't know each other that well, but I really want to be your friend. Can we do that?" He looked so hopeful, so adorable; it made your heart pound in your chest like a sledgehammer, making you feel all sorts of things, some of them were disgustingly fluffy, but there was also a part, which knew how this will end.

You had several long distance friendships through the years, but after a while, they all faded. You had no shared interests after a few months, in the end losing all contact whatsoever. With Jung Kook, you really wanted to make it work, and not only because he was famous. You were interested in him as a person, and him saying things like this made you happier than anything he did to you the last two days. Okay, maybe not better than riding him, but still... It was pretty close.

"Jeon Jung Kook! You have no idea, how much I love you for saying this!" you exclaimed, maybe a bit too excited, because you caught him off guard and his surprised yelp was the cutest thing ever when you threw yourself onto him and hugged him.

"So, was this the same thing as the one you wanted to tell me?" he asked, gasping in your embrace.

"Yes. I was so worried this would end badly. I want to keep talking to you too," you confessed, not even an ounce of embarrassment in your voice.

"I am sticking to you like hot glue," he joked, chuckling silently.

"Well, you are pretty hot, so it will not be hard."

"God, this was awful," he said, laughing at your lame pun.

"There is more where that came from," you threatened him, ruffling his hair playfully.

"I was afraid you would say that," he said, rolling his eyes with light exaggeration.

"Kookie, I am not sure if I told you this before, but you are adorable." It was true and you only hoped he would sense the fondness behind your words. He was indeed a precious human being and you were in awe of him ever since you got to be closer to him.
