In the beginning it was awkward. Nobody volunteered to ask the first question, so Nam Joon, as the good leader he was, asked each of your ages as a way of getting the conversation going. It turned out you were the same age as Nam Joon and Hoseok, Gemma likewise, while Heather and Viola were Jimin's and Tae Hyung's age. They immediately started addressing them as oppa; like they knew the idols for ages, but as your eyes met Gemma's over the girls' head, you had the same queer expression on your faces. It was just so foreign to you; the concept of addressing them so intimately upon five minutes of knowing each other.

"Now, that we got a base for conversation, please start," said Nam Joon, his English perfect, his accent impeccable and his voice oh so deliciously deep. "If you want, I can translate too."

"I am trying to improve my Korean... Would it be okay if I tried asking in your language?" you spoke up, looking the leader in the eye. "I will ask for help when something doesn't come to me, okay?"

To this, you may have heard a whispered "kissass" coming from Heather, but you were suddenly too excited to give a damn. Maybe later I can throw her under a bus; you entertained the idea while composing your question, mostly looking for the right sentence structure. Why was Korean so damn hard?

"It will be easier for us too," spoke up Tae Hyung, smiling at you fondly.

"My questions are not related to your career, is that okay?" you asked, still hesitant to actually just ask away and see what happens.

"As long as it is normal, I don't see the problem." This was the first time Seok Jin spoke, and the sweetness of his voice hit you like a bus. He sat next to Jung Kook and Tae Hyung, wrapped up in a huge hoodie and looking tiny, fragile and huggable, despite the fact, that he was the oldest member of the group.

"Then, I will begin, please respond honestly; I promise they are not atrocious," you announced and fixed your gaze upon Yoongi, the member whom you wanted to ask your first question from. He bravely held your gaze, smiling even. Yoongi looked sleepy, like he just woke up from a nap, but somehow he still radiated energy. "What is your most irrational fear, Yoongi?"

It was such a simple question, yet all the members started booing, as if you asked when he lost his virginity. You didn't aim to embarrass him, yet his ears started burning and the shouting of the members didn't help at all.

"Clearly, I am not afraid of anything," the idol stated, straightening his back, "However, if I had to name something, it would be that one day the teddy bears in our dorm would come to life and murder us in our sleep," Yoongi said, face as stoic as a statue.

Not laughing at his answer was the hardest job you have ever had, because he went that extra mile and answered honestly. You expected some standard BS answer, but no... Yoongi had to go and say something like this; and while you could hold back, the others didn't, laughing their asses off, like hyenas on the savanna. The rapper hit the member closest to him, Jimin, but he only laughed harder. To be honest, it was indeed hilarious.

"Should I ask every member my questions, or should every one of us address Yoongi first?" asked Gemma, finally finding her voice, speaking with the most perfect Korean you have heard from her since you started learning the language. Those late night study sessions were finally paying off.

"Let's do it one member at a time. Easier that way, harder to chicken out," said Nam Joon, still breathless from laughing on Yoongi's answer.

"Then, it is my turn!" exclaimed Heather, who was sitting next to you, almost exploding with excitement. "Oppa, if you had a chance, would you date a fan?" Nam Joon had to translate this question, and you could tell just by the frown on his face, that he was not really pleased with it. The boys still hyped Yoongi up, but they also seemed put off by it.
