"Veronica ! Miss Ruhana is calling you !! " shouted Helen. I ran to her and asked if anything serious. She just said, " I don't know ! Simply just go and ask her. "
I went to the science lab where Miss Ruhana was waiting for me. I was a shy girl but I always wanted to participate in all the activities in the school. Miss Ruhana was the one who helped me open up and to be confident.
"Veronica, I have an opportunity for you. There is Talent Hunt Programme in the school. It happens every year for the 6th standard students. I want you to represent your class. " Miss Ruhana said.
" Miss, do you think I will be able to handle it ? " I asked in shock.
She said in such an obvious tone, "Of course ! That's why I called you. "
Perplexed, I agreed to what she wanted.
I went back to the class Martin and Garry came to me and I narrated them whatever happened. They were very happy for me as I will be doing something on the behalf of the class.
In the next 2 days, we were all ready with the speech and all arrangement were made for the Talent Hunt thing. Surprisingly, we won it. My happiness was on the 7th sky. I was like flying whole day. Martin, Garry and Helen too were glad.
Years and months passes quickly when you are happy but its only the case with happiness. When you are broken every single thing seems to irritate you.
Well, the last day of our session and the result day too, came soon. The results were announced Helen came first and I came third. My happiness knew no bounds.
