The Cupid Plot

Virgil and Gordon had both just been on a mission, cleaning up algae that Langstrom Fichler had dumped in the Irish Sea in a hopeless attempt to grow a coral reef. "Good job Thunderbird 2. Mission complete." John said over the comms. "Returning to Tracy Island." Virgil yawned. Gordon peered out of the window, where he could vaguely see Alan and Kayo sitting by he pool. "Hey, is that Alan and Kayo down there?"
John frowned. "Uh, yeah, so? They're always hanging out together."
"Alan seriously likes her though. Not sure if its mutual, but they're forever flirting given the chance."
John raised his eyebrows. "What are you saying?"
"I think we should play matchmaker."
John almost choked. "We? Who said I was part of this crazy plot of yours?"
Gordon have his hologram a playful nudge. "C'mon, it'll be fun."
"I'm in" Virgil interupted. "Its kinda obvious they like each other."
"I don't know much about human emotions." EOS piped up in the background. "But I could always hack into Tracy Island's systems and make mistletoe appear above them."
Gordon laughed. "Thanks for the offer EOS but I've got this. Next time there's a mission in deep space, make sure we get them two to go. They'll be stuck together for hours on end and somewhere along the line they'll realise their feelings for each other!"
Virgil nodded. "Good plan."
"That's why we need Johnny here to help us!" Gordon rolled his eyes.
John shrugged. "I'm in, I guess. It'll be payback for Alan for that time he tried to set up me and Ridley."
"Set up you and Ridley? What? When? How?"
"Long story." (and I'm writing a fanfic about it.)
"So..." Virgil smirked. "After we're done seting up Alan and Kayo, how are we gonna set up Gordon and Lady P?"
"Can I do the mistletoe trick?" EOS teased.
"Don't you dare!"
