It was you all along

Chapter 1:

Calissa woke up as sad as she has always been. she got off her bed not being at all enthusiastic about her first day in highschool. She took a quick shower and wore her normal jeans 👖 and her baggy sweater.
She went downstairs and greeted her mom good morning with a sad and nervous smile on her face. Her mom noticed that and told her everything was gonna be okay. Calissa felt a little better and walked out of the house with a small smile on her face.
She started her walk to school and got there in less than 10 minutes. Calissa stood at the end of the school hallway and took a deep breath before stepping into the school.
She headed to the principal's office first for her schedule and locker number. She thanked the principal and walked out of his office. Calissa made her way to her locker and put her books in. She closed her locker and turned around, she saw her Best Friend Maya and waved her over.
She crushed her in a hug and Calissa gave her a small smile. They were catching up on what they missed on their holiday. Maya was rambling on when suddenly she suddenly stopped and held her mouth open. Calissa asked her what was wrong and she pointed at a guy coming in their direction.
Calissa was shocked to have seen Andre Gillroy walking towards them and she froze in her spot out of shock. Andre said hi and Calissa was still recovering when Maya dragged her away.
After their encounter with Andre they didn't see him until lunch. Maya and Calissa sat at their usual table which is right opposite Andre's table. Maya noticed Andre looking at Calissa and gave her a small nudge.
Calissa looked over and saw  Andre looking at her and he gave her a small smile. Calissa smiled back and looked away.
Maya gave her a knowing look saying Andre likes Calissa. Calissa brushed it off thinking she was just joking around. But then she thought what if Andre really likes her.
The day ended quite quickly and Calissa was in her room when she got a text on her phone. She checked the text and realized it was from Andre. She went to bed and thought " what a way to start my school year"
