Chapter Two: Will You Be Mine?

Willa's POV

After me and my mom ate dinner I went upstairs to my room to get ready to go out with Aaron.

I wore my white skinny leg jeans with my fuzzy boots and a black long sleeve top.

I tied my hair back in a ponytail and then I heard the door bell ring.

Knowing it's Aaron I ran downstairs and opened the door only to see a girl I have never seen before.

"Um can I help you?" I ask the girl who stood there.

She was pretty with brown medium length hair, brown eyes and a good body.

"I'm so sorry to interrupt your night I know you must be busy, I just wanted to introduce my self, I'm Amelia, I just moved in today with my family two doors down from you" She finished off with a friendly smile.

"Oh I didn't know anyone was moving in that house, it's been vacant for a while but it's nice to meet you" I return the smile and hold out my hand which she shook.

"I didn't get a chance to stop at the house next door from yours because I was walking from the cafe down the road and I passed your house first" she explained. "Are they as friendly as you?" She asked.

Great, she's asking about Aaron's house. Why do the pretty girls always want Aaron, even though she hasn't even met him yet.

"Yes they're super friendly, they're two lovely couple and they have a son who's 17 years old, he's my best friend" I say to her as she nods interested in what I'm saying.

"Aww how nice"

"Willa?" I heard Aaron's voice call from the driveway. I looked over Amelia's shoulder and saw him standing there looking confused.

I then saw his gaze land on Amelia. "Who's your friend?" He asked without taking his eyes off her.

No! Why god, why?

"Hi I'm Amelia I moved in two doors up from here" Amelia smiles and puts out her hand for him to shake.

He held her hand and brought it up to his lips and kissed it. "Pleasure to meet you beautiful, I love next door from you then".

Yup, Aaron's a flirt.

"Wow, your Willa's best friend? She was just telling you live next door from her? So were all neighbours" she says happily then turns to give me an excited smile.

"Well then since your obviously new to town how about I take you out on a date tomorrow night?" Aaron asked.

"I'd love too" She replies back eagerly causing me to roll my eyes.

Why did this happen? Why did this insanely beautiful girl come out of no where and ruin my chances with Aaron.

It's not like you had a chance anyway, my inner voice said.

He's had girlfriends before but they never lasted for long so I was hoping maybe if he does ask her to be his girlfriend, that it won't last long too.

"Well I'd better get going, it was so nice to meet you both" She gives us both a smile before walking down my driveway and onto the footpath.

Aaron's watched her as she walked away then turned to face me and saw I looked upset.

"Baby girl what's wrong?" He asked coming and standing beside me.

"Nothing" I lied trying to sound convincing "Let's go get you some ice cream".

"Do you like it?" I asked him as licked the ice cream he had in his hand.

He nodded taking another lick while twirling the ice cream.

Oh how I wish I can be that ice cream right now.

"Thanks for taking me out, I really needed it" he said.

"No worries, you know I'll do anything for you" I said earning a smile in return.

"Hey! what are you guys doing here?" I heard a familiar voice say. I looked to see where the source of sound came from, and I saw Jason with Viola wrapped around his arms.

"Hey guys" I waved as they walked over to join us.

"Sup Jay" Aaron fist pumped my brother. Boys!

Viola sat beside me and we began chatting away like chatter boxes.

We all go to the same school which is cool, and we all get along.

Our little 'crew' consists of me, Aaron, Bobby, Jason and Viola.

Viola's a pretty chill girl. She's actually my only girlfriend so we get along just fine.

As we were all talking I noticed some kids from school come in and next thing you know everyone's sitting at our table, laughing and talking. I guess you can say were the popular kids at school.

I didn't realise it was nearly midnight until I got a text message from my mom telling me to get back home soon.

"Aaron I gotta go, mom wants me back home" I say as I stand up.

He immediately stood up too "Ok I'll walk back with you".

My brother told me he'll see me at home, so I said bye to everyone before walking out of the ice cream shop with Aaron beside me.
