Sitting on the couch, you began scrolling through your phone— not really paying attention to what you were looking at. You were on the Instagram page— looking at random pictures of people in different poses.

Your eyes went back and forth through focus and blurry, making you feel more tired than you actually were. You didn't know how many hours it's been since you've sat on the couch waiting for him to return, but you knew it was longer than you were supposed to.

You knew how addictive he's become over practicing late and getting better. It made you proud to see him working so hard for his dream— but at the same time he was hurting himself.

And you.

You hated being selfish, but you felt like there was no time available for you anymore. You might as well become the house maid because that's what it seems like you're doing at this point. You knew you loved Felix— and that might be why you couldn't let him go.

He was too busy living his own dream, you felt as if he has completely forgotten about you. You didn't have the courage in you to tell him how you feel, you felt selfish enough just thinking such thoughts. You were content just being beside him.

But somewhere deep down you knew you couldn't live like this forever.

It was hour past midnight when you heard the door open, a soft thud following afterwards. You could hear him sigh, removing his shoes and setting down his bags.

You quickly stood up, forcing a smile on your face as he walked through the doorway. His tired eyes landed on you— not changing the slightest when he saw you.

"Why are you still up?" was the first thing he said when he saw you. Your smile instantly dropped, feeling hurt. After waiting hours to see him, he couldn't even welcome you home or look at least happy to see you.

You shook off the pain in your chest— trying your best to smile once more but you walked over to him, helping him take off his coat and grab his bag.

"I was waiting for you, I wanted to sleep next to you." you told him as you both made your way to the kitchen. The food you made for him was sitting in the fridge like usual, alongside a glass of milk he always insisted drinking.

Little things like this is what you could do to make his life easier, less stressful. You would do anything for him, just to see him happy and smiling.

Felix sighed as he took the plate out, before scanning over it. You made him chicken along with Sukju Namul, knowing how much he loved chicken. He walked towards the table, completely ignoring your presence as he ate silently.

You stood in the kitchen, completely baffled at the silent treatment you were receiving. You know he liked to be alone sometimes, but this rudeness and cruelty you were receiving was completely unnecessary.

"Felix, what's wrong?" You asked, cleaning his plate and glass as he finished his dinner. Felix didn't even make eye contact with you, causing another ache in your chest. Felix mumbled something under his breathe before stomping off to the bedroom— leaving you alone in the kitchen.

You could feel your tears run down your cheeks as you stood there, not knowing what to do or what you had done. Your mind was blank as you stared at the close door— knowing you would only feel more hurt if you entered that room.

You slowly made your way to the couch, laying your weight against it as you allowed your legs to give out from under you. Your emotions drained from you— you left empty and exhausted, not able to registered everything that just happened.

Whimpered and soft sobs left your lips as you hugged yourself to sleep— feeling completely miserable, not able to make your boyfriend happy.

Little did you know, Felix could hear everything through the door— his heart aching from your cries. He didn't intentionally mean to hurt you— he's been so stressed out from trying to improve himself, he's forgotten to cherish you.

After a while of beating himself up, he got out of bed. Felix opened the door— instantly seeing your sleeping figure on the couch. He heart broke as he noticed how puffy and red your eyes were, even while sleeping. Your face still had stains from where you cried.

Felix knelt down next to you, cupping your face in his hands while he placed a kiss on your forehead. The action made you stir awake slightly— your eyes barely opening.

"F-Felix?" you muttered, trying to adjust your eyes. He gave you a sad smile before embracing you. Shocked and confused, you ended up hugging him back.

"I'm sorry (Y/n), I should've have treated you like that. I'm just so stressed— but that's not excuse for ignoring my wonderful and beautiful caring girlfriend." Felix mumbled in your hair, hugging you tightly against your chest.

You couldn't tell whether it was yours or Felix's heart beating loudly, but you couldn't let go of him. You both silently embraced each other— allowing the silent to convey all your emotions between each other.

"Let's go back to bed now." Felix said, picking you up in his arms— your legs automatically wrapping around him. You couldn't help but smile contently as you rested your head on his shoulder— knowing that everything was fine between you two.
