"Italics"= inner thoughts
(Y/n)= Your nameStrong, unforgiving desert wind violently throwing up sand for all to see in the air and depositing itself into any unprotected eyes and mouths. The brutal heat taking advantage of its territory and punishing anyone who dares cross into its realm. A sand painted canvas undisturbed by anything, now being spoiled by the shipping silhouette of a whirling, (color) haired traveler crossing oceans of deceased raging waves, her desert animal performing as her mighty, voyaging vessel.
Adjusting the veil protecting your head and face, you let out a breath of relief and adrenaline. Rubbing the sand from your eyes, you reflected on what anyone would call a miracle. You had successfully made it out of a sandstorm alive, your beast and possessions intact. You, although exhausted, found a miraculous sense of reassurance and hope from this. This had to be a sign. Your destination, the Oasis of Utan... you were sure you'd make it but you needed to properly prepare for the rest of your travels so you went looking for a place to rest.
You gave your camel a pet, a praise of its good efforts for the day, as you found some ruins to shade you until better traveling conditions. "Let's wait here until it cools down." You contently told your only companion while unloading to set up a small campground. After everything was put together, you stretched your tired body "We've done well today," you murmured, crossing your arms behind your head as they cushioned your back-fall to the lounging place you'd set up that released a plume of sand and dust as you hit. You wound up your face in though for a moment. "What am I doing?" You thought, pondering how much of your mind you've lost. "...I'm talking to a camel." you grunted as you lazily reached for your waterskin and sluggishly took an agreeable amount of water to abstain your unceasing thirst. Packing your things back up, you were ready to take your deserved break in the shade...an so you did... "Maybe the heat is getting to me."
While you were sleeping, you lay unaware and unprotected against the ever present danger that had set its devious sights on the defenseless, sleeping you. Looming, growing closer, and colluding with its gathering swarm. They saw an easy target, one that couldn't stand a chance, and one with some nice looking valuables. The desert vermin were always scavenging for treasures to unrightfully pilfer...by any means.
"GET HER!!!!"
~time-lapse~So in the desert bundled a gaggle of bandits to rummage through the belongings of the woman they thoughtfully tied up and planted in the middle of the group for their sinfully vile eyes. "We got a pretty good haul here!" The one doing the invading of goods, declared to the rest of the gang who were busying themselves by filling their eyes with your deliciously bound image.
"This little desert flower here's not to bad a' find either!" One howled with perverse laughter. "I'm sure we can get quite a lot for her!" The crew fallowed suit with the expression of wicked joy.
If you could run you would but the only truly movable part of your body was your eyes...which did, in fact, make a whirlwind of disgusted and distressed emoting. You were a lone woman captured by an immoral gang of disgusting men and who knows what they would do to you. "How did I let this happen?" Your mind was filled with dread. "I had such a good feeling earlier. How could I have been this wrong?!" One thing was for sure though...unless some unlikely help came soon you'll face whatever evil they had planned for you.
"HAHAHAHAHA-" They continued until faintly hearing the huffs of an unknown source.
"-Help me...water...food...please..." Their joy was interrupted by the weary and pathetic figure of a small, weak boy shakily making his naive way to the, unknown to him, dangerous group.
