As soon as I open the door, I see Peter, with his infamous smirk on his face.

"Good Evening Covey" he says as he kisses me on the cheek before he walks into the house, taking his shoes off before meeting Kitty and Jamie.

"Hi Peter!" Kitty says when she comes to the door, as well as Jamie, who runs toward my boyfriend, full of excitement. Everyone in the room is lighten up by Peter's presence.

"Okay," I said, "You guys can hang out in the living room while I get started making the cookies." Everyone leaves to head to the location their supposed to go, while I go back in the kitchen.

As I start walking back to the kitchen, I feel a pair of arms wrapped around my stomach, and as I turn my head, I see Peter, with his eyes closed and embracing me, while smelling my hair.

"Your hair smells like coconuts", Peter says, with a smile on his face. Those were the exact same words he said before he kissed me in middle school, which now that I think about, still gives me bliss.

"Thank you," I said "I've been using this coconut shampoo for my hair for a while, you should try it sometime. Your hair has been kind of dirty." I turned around and started messing his hair. Those words were definitely not the ones I replied to five years ago.

Peter backs up a little, "Hey I like how my hair looks," as he fixes his hair. "But I do want to try that coconut shampoo you mentioned." He comes close to me, but I lightly push him away.

"Hey, I have to make my cookies." I said as I walk back to the table where all the ingredients lay out. "You should be at the living room, Kitty must be waiting for you."

Peter says "Alright, but you have to kiss me first before I go." As he walks to where I am standing. When he reaches me, his face comes close to mine, and his eyes are closed, waiting for his kiss.

Since I have to start making the cookies, I have no choice but to kiss this handsome face. As I lean towards him, we both hear "PETER!!!" coming from the other room.

Kitty must be getting impatient. And so has Jamie, who started barking, waiting for Peter to return.

"You should get going" I said, as I give him a quick kiss on the cheek. He walks towards the living room, but before he goes, he turns around and gives me a wink. I laugh at him, just for being Peter K.: The person you enjoy to be with, who you think as your partner and best friend.

Time goes by, and I am already combining the wet and dry ingredients together, but I wish this process was faster. I have to pick up the bowl of dry ingredients and gradually add it into the bowl of wet ingredients. And then I have to use the hand mixer.

I always wanted a stand mixer, to make the baking process go by quicker, but sometimes, you just have to work with what you have. And the hand mixer has been working well for the past few years.

While I was working, I hear a voice saying something in my ear, "Do you need help?" I turn and see Peter, smiling at me.

"Where's Kitty?" I asked "You're supposed to keep her occupied while I'm handling this."

"She's more focused on what's on the TV. I think she's watching some drama or something." After he says this, he notices the flour on my face, and he wipes my cheek with his hand. "I'll help you, what do you need me to do?"

"Well," I replied, "You can help gradually add the dry ingredients into the this bowl while I mix. I'll you know when to add it in." He follows my directions and helps me finish making the cookie dough.

As soon as we're done, I put the dough into the fridge to chill. During that time, me, Peter, Kitty, and Jamie are all hanging out. We're teaching Jamie new tricks, mostly Kitty, me and Peter are  talking about what we've been doing for thepast week and a half, while watching Kitty and Jamie.

Before dad left, we ordered a pizza for dinner. There are still some slices left, and Peter is mostly eating all of it. That's Peter K, the guy who eats the last slice of pizza.

After about an hour, I pull the cookie dough from the fridge, roll out the dough, and then added a brown sugar and cinnamon mixture I just made on top of that. I rolled it up like I'm making a cinnamon roll, and then I cut it into discs. I've preheated the oven, put the dough on a cookie sheet, and let that bake for about twelve minutes.

Peter comes into the kitchen, complaining, "Are they ready yet? Kitty is getting restless."

"Don't you mean 'I'm getting restless,'" I said. "I still need to make the icing and it's almost done, I promise. Maybe you should've came here at this time, so you wouldn't be complaining."

Peter replies, "Look outside, you can see the snow piling up. I couldn't been able to get here with the weather like that. How about you help me cure my sweet craving by giving me two minutes of your time." After he says this, I thought to myself, "Oh my god, he wants to make out. As my little sister is sitting in the next room."

"No thanks." I said, as I start prepping to make the icing. Peter follows me and when we reach to the table where the ingredients for the icing lay out, he wraps his arms around my stomach again and gives me a kiss on the neck.

He says,"Maybe not two minutes, but thirty seconds at least, please. I've been looking forward to this all night." I roll my eyes, but then I realize he's not going to leave this room until I kiss him. And I need to start making the icing. I look around the kitchen, making sure Kitty isn't around. She's probably busy with Jamie.

"Alright fine," I said "But it has to be thirty seconds." Peter replies "I'll keep count in my head." He smiles.

And then we preceded to make out. I'm pretty sure we went over thirty seconds, but I didn't care. I didn't realize I wanted this as much as Peter.

As were making out, wehear a voice in the kitchen, "Lara Jean." Me and Peter both turn our heads, and we see my dad, in the foot of the room, looking at us, with snow on the shoulders of his coat and a surprised expression on his face.
