This book follows,seventeen year old Jack and how he gets into a traumatizing car crash that leaves him with anxiety. His therapist recommends that Jack should join a support group and that's what his mother does. When Jack arrives he doesn't recognize any one except for a boy with curly hair,Finn Wolfhard.
Finn one of the popular kids in school. He goes to school with a smile on his face but he actually has depression. This all started when his dad left when he was thirteen and from the point on it just got worse. So,his mother puts Finn in a support group and that's where he meets Jack.
