Jack's POV-
After we study for about one hour my mom calls me to come home for dinner.
I put all my things into my bag and put it on my back.
"I'll drive you home Jack." Finn says with a smile. I smile back. I start to walk out of his room as he puts on his sweater.
"Ok let's go." Finn says walking behind me as I walk down the stares. We went out to his car and I got into the passenger seat.
We drive back to my place in silence, the only sound is the radio that isn't turned up very loud.
He pulls into my drive way and he unlocks my door.
"Thanks for having me." I say opening my door.
"No problem Jack, I mean we're friends right?" Finn says with a smile. I smile back and look down.
"So,I'll see you at school?" I say, starting to get out of the car.
"Wait," Finn says putting him hand on my arm. "Can I have your number...." He says, a blush forming on his face.
"Oh, sure that's a good idea." I say and Finn pulls out his phone. I tell him my number and then he gives me mine.
"Ok, great. I'll see you tomorrow?" Finn says with a small smile.
"Yeah see you tomorrow." I say getting out of the car then closing the door. Finn waves and I wave back then walking inside.
"Hey Jack, how was it?" My mom asked as her and Vanessa set the table.
"Hey, it was good." I say setting my bag down.
"And how's Finn?" She asks and Vanessa smirks.
"He's good I guess." I say, "What's for dinner?" I try to change the subject.
"Spaghetti." My mom answers. I come sit next to Vanessa but once I sit I feel my phone vibrate in my pocket. I pull it out and look at the screen.
Unknown:Hey Jack it's Finn
I look down at my phone a blush a light shade of red.
"Who ya texting?" Vanessa asks leaning over to see who I'm texting. I pull my phone away so she can't see my screen."No one, mine your business!" I say.
She lets out a gasp, "It's a boy isn't it!" She exclaimed.
"Wh-what, no!" I say blushing even harder.
"It is! No it's not just any boy, it's Finn!" She says and bursts out laughing.
"Vanessa you were dating when you were his age, so don't tease." My mom says sitting down.
"But we're not dating!" I say, "He doesn't like me that way." I mumble the last part. My mom looks up at me but I just look away. She frowns and so does Vanessa but they don't say a word, and we are all silent for the entire dinner.
After that Finn and I continue to talk. We sit together at lunch which I can tell his friends are pissed about but Finn doesn't seem to care. He drives me to the support group ever week and we study for all our math tests together. We talk at school and over text but the only thing is that we don't really talk in front of his friends, but I don't mind.
Before I know it it's December 13th, the night before the snow ball. Sophia and I are sitting on my bed watching a 'The Night Before Christmas' which I personally think is a Halloween movie but Sophia insists it's a Christmas movie.
