The spot where Yoongi should be laying is empty and cold, like he was never there at all. Jimin sighs, frowning.

A loud sound comes from a kitchen along with a loud damn it!

Jimin quickly shuffles out of bed and enters the kitchen. A frying pan is upside down on the floor, with messy eggs spread around it. Yoongi leans over the counter and clutches his hand.

"Are you okay?" he asks the older timidly.

"I'm fine Jimin."

He blinks sadly, knowing he harshly said the same to the other less than nine hours ago.

Yoongi, for all his confidence and bluster, gets hurt too easily. Especially when someone yells at him. Jimin feels guilty flooding over him because he knows that too well.

He walks over and looks at the burn on his boyfriend's palm.

"C'mere," he says softly, leading Yoongi to the sink to run cool water over his hand. The other temporarily winces.

He won't even look at Jimin.

"I'm really sorry hyung," the younger blurts out in a wobbly voice. "Yesterday was...horrible. So horrible and I handled everything wrong. I didn't mean to hurt you. I didn't mean to push you away."

"Are you going to tell me what happened?" Yoongi asks with a slight edge to his voice.

Jimin nods, getting a cloth to dry off Yoongi's hand.

"Just let me bandage it first."

He turns to walk away, but Yoongi's hand grabs his wrist.

"Jimin, forget about my damn burn and just tell me what's going on."

He nods, wanting to keep his back turned, but knowing that will only piss Yoongi off more. So he turns to face his boyfriend.

"I-um-I had a talk with one of my professors yesterday. He told me...he told me that I'm failing out."

"What?"

If Jimin hadn't cried so much yesterday, he would be now.

"I'm failing my classes Yoongi and I can't fix it." His voice violently cracks.
"I don't know what to do."

Yoongi puts both his hands on the younger's cheeks. "Why didn't you tell me any of this?"

"Because it's humiliating. I'm a loser."

He scowls. "Don't you dare talk that way about yourself, especially in front of me."

"But it's true," Jimin says bitterly. "And you're doing well with your music. Jin's doing fine with his classes. I'm ruining everything."

"No, you're not."

"Yoongi-ah, what am I supposed to do?"

"I don't know," the other admits. "But we'll figure it out. Together. Okay?"

The younger nods numbly.

"Why did this happen? Are your classes that hard? You never said anything, like you were struggling."

"They weren't hard. I don't know. I just stopped being able to focus on the lectures after a while. I know the assignments and exams weren't hard, but they just felt like it. I knew I wasn't doing well. I never realize that it was this bad. Fuck!"

Jimin slams his hand against the counter.

"Calm down," Yoongi softly hums.

He pulls Jimin close to him and rubs his back. The blonde presses his face in the warm crook of his boyfriend's neck.
