The shallow breaths and sobs of the young boy filled my ears. I tried to open my eyes but only saw blurry blobs. I attempted to raise my head but i was only met by a throb of pain, my head fell back down to the soft grass blanket.
"E..er..en" I mumbled quietly. It took an emence amount of energy and i was tired out very quickly again. Even the birds were louder though it was only small chirps here and there.
He did not take notice of my quiet callings and his sobs continued he lower his small head onto me. He was bending over me on his knees, that's when the i relized that my body was still soaked from the pond. Coldness trickled all over my body.
Warm tears hit my stomach where Eren was now balling. I opened my eyes again to see that my vision has cleared up a bit. Red marks streaked down Erens face like claw scractchs, raw and sore. His Aqua eyes glimmered with pain and sadness.
A tear of my own drizzled down my soft face Erens hand inter winded with mine and he gripped it with a tight grasp, as though life depended on it.
The warmth felt nice i tryd to move my other hand to let him know i was with him, to get his attention that i longed. But my atempt failed.
I opened my e/c eyes once more and took a deep breath so Eren would feel it on his face, he did and looked in my eyes tears still watering out of his eyes. I locked mine with his and smiled.
"Y/N!" He yelled to me his red face smashed into my chest and embraced me into a tight hug, pain filled my body from the sudden movement, but i did not protest. The hug warmed me in the heart. The feeling of not being alone. I wrapped my arms around him aswell
"HUH!!" The blondehaird boy howled. " Your Alive!!" Armin continued his surprised look gave me a small smile. He then joined us in the hug.
"Boys. Give the poor girl a break." Mikasa spoke up with her blank face.
"Huh" The boys both said,
I thanked Mikasa mentally as their grip loosend and the pain that was aching all over eased.
"She just woke up from almost drowning and probably has a head injury. She is probably in quite the shock and pain... " She finished
"WELL." She made her point clear after the boys just kinda sat there still hugging me, they quickly scrambled off me and apologized when Mikasa gave them the Death stare.
"Can you stand" Mikasa said walking over to me giving me her hand.
I nodded and grabbed her hand slowly, i pulled myself up with a struggle. As we walked at a VERY slow pace the boys mostly stayed silent only mumbling here and there. I put most of my weight on mikasa so i don't fall. A small wet trickle of a stick wet substance ran down my face.
I was beginning to lose my valence and then my foot caught myself on the untied shoelace again making me fall backwards. I braced myself for the pain, but instead i was caught in the arms of a very flustered Eren. He looked at me with those sweet eyes of his and smiled, and i smiled back. His face lit up. But then a thump behind me startled Eren and he dropped me.
