"I used to think apologies

were a way to relieve a little

guilt and to show that

you never really meant

to hurt someone but

after you broke everything

that mattered inside of me

and kicked me to the ground

you said sorry and I didn't

believe a word of it because

you can't just apologize for a

murder without having it

sound a bit cold-hearted

and I don't think you were

trying to hide the cruelty

behind your voice at all."
