Chapter 9
(Peeta's POV)
As my eyes slowly open I realise that there is something different about my prison cell but I can't put my finger on it. I notice small red droplets of an unknown substance on the walls and celling and as I look down I gasp in horror as I see a huge puddle of it on the floor and at that moment I know the substance isn't tomato juice. I try to remember if anything happened last night that could explain the blood but I feel so light headed that I can't think of anything. My eyes drift to my leg and my previous question is answered, there are many whip marks but yet I don't feel any pain what happened to me?
(Shraden's POV)
Last night was absolutely fantastic Snow gave me the okay to do what ever I wanted to Peeta 'cause the videos for the hijacking weren't ready yet so I got my fave whip out but I accidentally knocked him unconscious went I tried to punch him in the shoulder and he moved so he probably doesn't remember anything. But still he must be hurting so much this morning.
(Peeta's POV)
After a series of painful surgical alterations to my leg, the torture team ( as in Shraden, Snow and Ella-Drown) walks in with there TV and other electronic devices. It's time for another remembering session.
The screen lights up and I see Katniss in a Capitol lab but something is different about her she is missing an arm and an eye. Then a scientist inserts a new eye in fer scull and proceeds to her arm. Why are they replacing her body parts. On the wall in the back I notice the words'' Mutation Creation Facility (M.C.F.)''. Wait a minute does this mean she is a mutt, a capitol creation, NOOO!!! She can't be I would of notice right? Then again I have never seen anyone shoot an arrow whit as much accuracy as Katniss. This can't be real, first I found out she wanted to kill me then it turns out she's a mutt.
Then as she wakes up on screen she does something that I would never have expected...
