[A/N: I thought you guys ought to know that this book probably won't exceed 20 chapters.]

Light shone into the room as I tried to ignore it.

I turned over to shut out the light but it had already done it's trick. I felt myself becoming more and more conscious and finally, I sat up in frustration. "Dang it." I muttered.

Blinking slowly to adjust to the bright lighting in the room, I soon realised that I wasn't at where I fell asleep, because the last time I checked, I had passed out on George's couch.

The room was neat. There was a window with the curtains drawn back and overlooking the canal. On the right side of the window was a gaming setup on a desk. More to the right was a door, presumably to the washroom, and sitting in the middle of the room is a queen sized bed with my four duffel bags set beside it tidily.

The entire room was adorned in black, grey and white with a little bit of wood visible every here and there, giving the room a modern touch to it.

Who's room is this? I wondered. It's definitely not George's. His room is never neat. The last time I checked, Ben doesn't like plain colours. He likes a splash of colour here or there among the many black things he owned.

I got up and hurried to the washroom to brush up, making sure I didn't have a bed head and brushing my teeth, before stumbling out of the room, not looking at where I was going and ended up smacking into someone.

I cursed loudly as I placed a hand on my cheek where I hit him before looking up to apologise.

"Oof sorry- wait, Ariel?"

We walked back into the room, Ariel holding a cup of warm water which he handed to me.

"What are you doing here?" I stared at him for a moment. "What do you mean? It's my room." He protested without looking down at me. "It's your room?" I spluttered.

This time, he looked at me. "Everyone has a room here, Lexi." Ariel chuckled. I gave him a lopsided smile. "Sorry, I was just surprised that I woke up in your room."

The little voices inside my head were already screaming.

We just slept in Ariel's room. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh.

He scratched his cheek, looking away. "Well, I thought you might want a room to yourself, so I carried you up here." He shrugged, blushing.

"Thanks, Ariel." I said, "Having a room is really better, for me."

"But where did you sleep?" I frowned as I realised that there was no way he slept on his bed because the dips on his bed could only be made by one person, and that was me.

"Uhh..."

"He slept on the sofa." George saved him as he walked into the room.

"Knock!" Ariel and I both yelled in unison, snapping our heads over to look at him.

"Okok..." George laughed, stepping out of the room and rapped his knuckles on the door. "Come in." Ariel called.

"See, that wasn't so hard, was it?" I frowned at him. "Oh trust me, it was." George replied, chuckling. "Shove off." I scoffed, earning a laugh from him.

"So, you're going to let her stay in your room forever?" George raised an eyebrow at Ariel. "She's a girl. Girls. Need. Their. Own. Rooms." He answered, drawing out each word slowly. "Unless they have a boyfriend, then they can bunk. And besides, who's fault is it, that we don't have a room? Who took two rooms?" Ariel added.

George started to edge towards the door.

"Who took two rooms, George?" Ariel pressed, smirking lightly when he realised he hit home.

"Lucy took all the rooms." George defended before exiting the room. "Lunch's ready, by the way." He called over his shoulder.

I was stunned. Lunch? "Ariel, what time is it?"

"12:30." He replied. My face went slack. "I slept for 16 hours?"

Ariel nodded and began to stand. I stood up too. "Well you lacked sleep, right?"

"But that doesn't mean it's ok for me to sleep till noon." I protested.

"Does."

"Does not."

"Does."

"Does not."

We ended up bickering until we reached the kitchen where everyone stared at us.

We shut up and stared back.

"The lovebirds have arrived." Jeremy grinned, breaking the silence and handed us a plate of pasta each. Carbonara spaghetti. My favourite.

(A/N: Jeremy's gonna cook normal food thanks.)

"Shut up, Jeremy." Ariel rebuked. Everyone laughed.

"So, we didn't really have time to catch up yesterday." George began, pulling me into his room.

I flopped down on his bean bag where Lucy scrambled onto me. George sat on the chair of his setup.

"Yea well, you call me almost everyday." I retorted, though I was smiling. "I missed you." George admitted, lowering himself onto the floor next to the gray beanbag.

"Oh wow, surprise surprise." I commented, then broke off. "I missed you too, Georgia."

"Stop it with the names!!" He complained, batting me with a hand. I chuckled, stroking Lucy.

She sat there, not moving. She was heavy, don't get me wrong, but it felt amazing to have a dog lie on me because it makes me feel like I'm chosen by the dog and makes me feel loved.

...

I don't really know how to describe it. But it's an amazing feeling that I will never tire of.

She really is some dog.

"So, what are we going to talk about? Since you already know what I've been up to by calling me every sigle day?" I asked. "Maybe how we can catch up?" A head poked through the door. I opened my mouth.

"Let's not talk in here, then." George decided before I could say anything scathing.

"Why not?" I whined. "I don't want them all crowded in here. Get a move on, Lexi." George urged me, trying to haul me up. "I still need to record later." Jeremy's voice floated through the door. I sighed, getting to my feet. "Fine." I grumbled. "Lucy, come on." I beckoned the Retriever.

Then, a thought dawned on me. "George, what kind of questions are you guys going to ask me?" I asked, biting my lip and knitted my eyebrows together.

He gave me a sideways glance and smirked. "I can't begin to imagine."
