The One That Got Away//Zach Herron

chapter 3

When I got up to see what they were going to do Zach asked me where I was going. I just told him the bathroom. I went to go look for them but I didn't need to cause when I walked right out the cafeteria. They were making out. Lindon saw me and pushed her away. As if she kissed him. I acted like I was pissed but I was actually happy. 
"What the fuck is going on here!"-Katie
"Nothing, I promise. I love you"-Lindon
"

"It is what it looks like"-Stephanie says as she lines in and kiss him again.

"You know what Lindon we are down. You can have this bitch"-Katie
As I said those last words I walked away happy cause I could ask zach out. I walk back in the cafeteria and when I got back to the table I saw Loren  Flirting with Zach and he was flirting back. I was heartbroken. But I acted like I was ok. The boys noticed and asked if I was ok I mean expect Zach cause he was to busy with "Loren". I just told them ya. I saw Lindon come back in. He came up to me and said I am so sorry I still love you. But I just told him no and go fuck off. Everyone at the table we surprised. When Lindon got all his stuff, he left. Everyone at the table expect Zach and Loren asked what happened. I told them everything. They felt bad but I told them not to. Zach and Loren went off to who knows where. Loren is a "popular"girl. She always gets to guys but only uses them for the night if you know what I mean. I just don't want Zach to get hurt.
Zach's P.O.V
When Katie left to go to the bathroom this pretty girl came up to me and started to talk to me. Her name is Loren. She asked me if I wanted to go somewhere I said sure. We went to the bleachers. Right when we got there she kissed me. I mean I didn't push her away. I actually kissed her back. It became more of a makeout. In between the kiss she asked me to be her boyfriend. I thought maybe she would make Katie jealous. So I said sure. I know that is such a dick move but I really like Katie but now I kinda like Loren.
Katie P.O.V
We went to go look for xach and "Loren." Me and Daniel have gotten closer. I told him that I like Zach and he said I kinda knew that. I went to the field and looked for Zach and Loren with Daniel the rest of the guys went too the gym and see if they were there. I went to the back of the bleachers. But when I did I wish I hadn't. I saw Zach and Loren making out. Zach saw us and they stopped. Then those 7 words left his mouth.
"Guys meet Loren, she is my girlfriend"-Zach
I was heartbroken. Daniel noticed, so he spoke up.
"Hi Loren I am Daniel and I guess you know Katie."-Daniel
"It is so nice to meet you. Welcome to our school."-Loren
"Well thank you. We better get going bye"- Daniel
Daniel's P.O.V
Me and Katie went to the field to go look for Zach. I am actually kinda happy it is just me and her and I am happy her and her boyfriend broke up. Cause I actually like Katie. But she told me she liked Zach. I was hurt but I was close to her so that just made me happy. We went to the back of the bleachers and when we did I knew Katie was going to be heartbroken. Zach and that Loren girl were making out. Zach told us they were dating. I felt so bad for Katie. I said hi to her. She said hi back and welcome to out school. I just said thank you. Katie didn't say anything. So I said we better get going. Right when we left I hugged Katie. She was crying. And I all I did was make her feel better.
"Hey you don't need him. He doesn't know what he is missing out on. You are the most beautiful girl I have ever meet and the most wonderful girl. How about after school we go get some coffee and just go back to your place."-Daniel
"Thank you Daniel. You just made me feel so much better. I will also love to do that."-Katie
