Truth or Dare

Cheryl and I had been brainstorming ways for us to tell everyone that we are dating. After a rough 10 minutes, I had a genius idea.

"Cheryl do you have Kevin's phone number?" I quickly asked her.

"Ya, here." She replied.

I quickly dialed the number, and he responded surprisingly quickly.

"Hey this is Kevin. Who is this?"

"Kevin? Hey this is Toni. Toni Topaz. We have history and english together"

"The girl with the pink hair? Ya I  remember you. What do you need?"

"My girlfriend and I want to tell everyone that we are dating, but we need your help to do it."

"Scandalous! I'm in. Tell me everything."

After a good five minutes of explaining, he was silent.

"I like the idea, Toni." He said, breaking the silence. "Now I just have to know. Who is this secret lover?"

I looked over at Cheryl to get her approval. She nodded, so I told him.

"Cheryl Blossom."

A few hours later Cheryl sent a group message to Betty, Veronica, Archie, Jughead, Reggie, Josie, and Kevin. She asked them if they all wanted to come over to this nice hotel she rented out for a party the next night, claiming it was for her birthday not long ago.

They all agreed to come, so I had time to better explain the plan to Cheryl.

Josie was the first to arrive, and I could tell she was a little upset I was already here and she wasnt truly first. Next was Jughead and Betty, Then Reggie and Kevin, and lastly Archie and Veronica.

Cheryl had convinced them all to watch the movie "10 things I hate about you" at around 7:30 pm. Afterwards Veronica was the first to speak up about what they should do next.

"So does anyone have any good party games?" She loudly asked.

"I've got the perfect game." Kevin broke the silence. "Truth or Dare."

"Generic teenage game to reveal everyone's secrets and get people to make out. I'm in." I said quickly.

Everyone else eventually agrees, so we all sat in a circle ready to play our game.

Reggie was the first to speak.

"Archie. Truth or dare."

"Dare."

"I dare you to take off your shirt and ask the people next door if you can borrow one." He said, laughing to himself.

"Fine." Archie said as he took off his shirt.

Veronica was obviously watching his body very closely, and even Betty was checking him out. Cheryl and I looked away for most of it.

Nothing too exciting happened, except the woman hit Archie for the "rude" comment.

"Kevin." Archie spoke. "Truth or Dare."

Kevin scanned around the room before talking. "Truth."

"Who here would you most want to kiss if you could?"

"Easy. Very easy. Archie I'd kiss you. Sorry Reggie and Jug, but I've got a soft spot for gingers."

Kevin pretended to look around the room as if he was deciding who to pick, even though Cheryl and I knew who he was going to pick.

"Cheryl. Marjorie. Blossom." Kevin said very dramatically.

"Am I going to prison? You don't have to use my full name, mother." She said back.

"Truth or Dare?"

"Dare."

"Surprising. I was expecting you to pick truth." Reggie said.

"I dare you..." Kevin looked at Reggie, then me, then back at Reggie. "To kiss the person you are secretly dating in front of all of us."

Everyone looked super shocked. Betty and Veronica gave each other these looks that said, "What. The. Fuck." Archie was, well... As confused as he normally is. Josie was basically crying screaming "HOLY SHIT YOU HAVE A BOYFRIEND AND YOU DIDNT TELL ME???" Reggie and Jughead just raised eyebrows at each other. I broke the silence first.

"Hehehehe... What the fuck?" I said with a fake laugh.

Cheryl was on the opposite side of the circle as me, just as planned. And, also planned, Reggie was right next to me. Cheryl got on her knees and slowly crawled over towards us. She moved over towards Reggie, and I could tell everyone was not expecting that.

Cheryl leaned in to kiss him, right before pulled away and saying, "Oh Reggie. If only you could handle this." She then pushed him back slowly and turned slightly. She crawled onto me, and I could feel my cheeks getting red.

"Are you ready?" She whispered into my ear.

"Ye-" I started before being cut off by Cheryls lips being pressed against my own. I closed my eyes and kissed her back, only holding the kiss for a few seconds. She pulled away from me, and Everyone's jaw was hitting the floor.

Jughead was the first to say anything.
"Betty you own me $5."

Josie looked at Cheryl before quickly running up and hugging her. "I didn't- I should've- oh Cheryl!! Why didn't you tell me before!"

"We weren't ready. But Kevin helped us out a little bit." She said in response.

"This wasn't a birthday party, was it? Veronica said, chuckling to herself. You just wanted to tell us you two were dating!"

"Ya... Jughead had already figured it out though."

"I am a de-tect-tive." He said as he shoved a burger into his mouth.

"How long have you two been dating?" Betty spoke.

"A bit over a week or two." I said.

"And I never figured it out. Damn. You two are really sneaky." Betty said. "Ill have to pay close attention to you two so I can learn your secrets."

I know Betty said that with a joking undertone, but the thought of her, them all really, learning my secret, is kind of harrowing. And that's coming from someone who was secretly dating Cheryl "Bombshell" Blossom.
