Ch. 4 Trials and Power

Meliodas POV
Right now. We're being greeted by the Druids. They are also anticipating our arrival. After a brief of discussion and introduction. Zaneli looked at Elizabeth and said, "Well, then Meliodas, follow me to the tower to my right, and you too." I questioned, "In other words, I have to pass with whatever this trial is, right?" She replied, "Yes." She mumbles something, then she puts me on trial. She continued, "You will be out through a trial. Meliodas, whether we return your strength or not will depend on the results." Due to the noise I had heard, I gradually opened my eyes, mesmerized that I was in Danafor and stunned. Someone was yelling my name from behind me. I went back, and there was Liz. I felt stunned. I squeezed her breasts to test whether she was genuine when she grinned, but I was abruptly knocked off my feet. I can actually feel my chest hurting in the real world, but then the scenario abruptly shifts. It was pouring as Liz was leaned on the stone at that scene. I walked over to Liz and put my right hand on her shoulder while yelling her name. My rage consumed me to the point that I unleashed my demon power and lost control, but minute by minute I was able to regain control. I was thinking to myself, "I just need to completely forget about Liz. I just need to get used to Liz's death. It's easy, right, Meliodas? That's all there is to it. I don't want to repeat it ever, never again!" when suddenly my eyes opened. I instantly wiped my tears as they were dripping down onto reality.  as I approached her and asked, "Why are you crying, Elizabeth?" Elizabeth answered, "I just saw your tears," 

Zaneli stated, "Since you overcame the trial, does that mean you really abandoned your emotions?" I replied, "Everything precious is still right here." As I pointed to my chest,I have passed the trial; now restore my power." I came out of the cave, leaving Elizabeth for her trial, and to see how everyone was doing, I saw them entering another cave for their trials. I also knew that everyone was doing their best. After an hour, everyone's trials had done their job except for Elizabeth. Now I approached Jenna and said, "Now give back my power." "All right," she murmured, raising her staff, and immense black force erupted, forming massive black power that blanketed the sky. Everyone is now taking a step back. It all came to me now that my strength had been unleashed from its chamber. I approached Merlin and said, "Merlin, I just want to meet up with the 10 commandments; I just want to say hello to them."

"OK, just hold up there for 10 seconds to regain the teleportion," Merlin instructed, and I was transferred to the location of the ten commandments. Galand appeared in front of me and said, "Wait, he was my prey who had escaped." I smashed him in the face so hard that he moved back. I flew up and down, smashing his face once more. I hit him in the stomach and kicked him in the face. I did this to him over and over until he lost his composure and collapsed, defeated, on the ground.

I approached Zeldris and said, "If you do not finish the affairs of 3000 years ago, me and the seven deadly sins will crush you with all our might." He said, "I told you no more talk." I said, "Not a conversation,but a warning." He said, "Oh, it seems that you really forgot someone that we hold dear." I said in an irritated tone, "Who is that person that you guys always say that I forgot?"

Zeldris replied, "Because it's a coincidence that person got sealed with us by the goddesses; they didn't mean to seal her off because she came in front of me trying to protect us, but you... You only stared at what was happening to us, then you walked away, turning your back on us." I responded, "I don't remember anything." He continued, "Then would you like to come to see? I won't attack you for now because she's sleeping."

"Okay, if you're willing to show her up to me," I replied, and Zeldris and I headed into the middle. It had a room and a bed.

Someone was asleep and not breathing in there. I quickly examined the corpse. I was taken aback. I shivered when I remembered her. It was (y/n), a childhood buddy of ours. Then I tried to touch her, but it was too late. I rejoined the others. Because my bangs were concealing my eye, the others questioned me about what had occurred. "I...I...I see her she's with the 10 commandments..." they asked "who?" I replied "(y/)...(y/n)..she's back from this world our childhood friend" they said "looked you need to calm first do not yet think of her" I said "yeah everyone is right I need to focus on our situation for now... So Elizabeth how's your trial?" She replied "I... Failed completely..." I listened to Elizabeth's response, feeling a pang of disappointment for her. It was disheartening to hear that she had not succeeded in her trial. I knew that we would need to support her through this setback and find a way to move forward together.

Jenna's POV

I stated to Zaneli, "The princess' trial to make the seed sprout in the cup. You never put the seed in there. Did you, Zaneli?" She responded, "I put it in there, but why won't the seed sprout? I don't quite understand." I responded, "What! Then there must be something mysterious happening, but its up to them." and she didn't say anything.   I continued, "We should observe closely and see if any other factors could be affecting the seed's growth. Maybe there's a hidden element we're not aware of." Zaneli nodded in agreement, her eyes fixed on the cup, filled with anticipation.
