Zero’s POV:
I get dressed and ready for school. I’m going to go back…I hope I see Mizuki I haven’t seen her for a couple of days. Is she still upset with me? I’ll apologize to her.
Night Class:
Takuma knock twice on Kaname’s door. “Kaname” Takuma says. Kaname lies on his couch bed and messes up his hair. He’s in deep thought. “I thought you might be thinking about something. Rest well ok? Good night.” Takuma says as he leaves Kaname. There’s nothing surprising about Kaname being in a daze. But I think something happened last night… I’d better not ask any further, or I fear the consequences. More importantly he won’t like it… Takuma thinks as he walks to his room. “Ichijou you’re still awake? I found the books you wanted. Should I bring them to your room?” Asks a maid with a pile of books that reach the ceiling. “Yes…sorry to trouble you… thank you for your help, actually I came for the magazine…” He tells her. “I also have some thing for Kuran…” She says. “Is it for Kaname?” He asks her. “Yes a guest with an appointment has sent a permit application…it’s kind of urgent…” She says. “Kaname is busy right now, I’ll sign it instead.” I tell her. I…Takuma Ichijou, cross Academy Night Class Vice President and Dorm Assistant Leader…feel that my real use is for events like these. Takuma thinks. “Eh… it can’t be, how can this person come here…” He says horrified. “I’m telling the truth, do you ant to call to be sure?” The maid asks him. He dashes away. Takuma barges into Aido and Kain’s room. “Bad news!!! My grandpa’s coming tonight!” He yells. The other vampires just look at him as he huffs. “Takuma are you really vampires? So energetic in the early morning…” Aido asks mad at Takuma. “Like the vampires in the mangas you forcibly remind me of… you will probably turn to ashes by the sunlight.” Aido says. “I’d be very willing to turn to dust if I could… It’s very dazzling though…” Takuma says as he smashes himself to the window. “Do you wanna die?! It’s to bright!!” Aido complains. “It’s that guy…the person that the deputy chief is so afraid of…it could only be that guy.” Akatsuki says as Takuma shudders. “Yes…a business so experienced in handling the outside world…to the point where there’s no imaginable aspect of commerce that’s not involved in…the Ichijou enterprise. In the vampire world even among our kind, he’s a force to be reckoned with…Asatoo Ichijou or Ichiou as he is called… in the council of ancients, he continues to be one of the most senior vampires.” Takuma says gloomily. Then more vampires are at the door. “I’m afraid that’s not all the council of ancients is the highest body of command in our world, but it’s not our sovereign.” Ruka says. “No…forget it…in any case just leave it to that… I don’t want to disturb Kaname’s little bit of peace…even if it’s for Kaname’s sake…” Takuma says.
Mizuki’s POV:
I’m so thirsty…I clench my throat. I’ll go to the cafeteria and get some thing to eat and drink. My throat…it hurts…My head hurts…I just need to eat something. I see Zero and Yuuki walking outside. Zero sees me and tells Yuuki something then walks toward me. He looks…tasty…What?! Why did I think that? “Mizuki may I talk to you?” He asks me. I ignore him and keep walking. “Please…Mizuki…” He says grabbing my arm. “Zero…don’t…you really hurt me…I wrote like a million songs about it…about us…” I tell him. “Well please just listen…look I’m sorry. It’s just I don’t want to hurt you.” He says. “Well you did! You broke my heart. Then burned the pieces.” I tell him with tears in my eyes. “I’m sorry…I’m so sorry. Please forgive me. Mizuki I love you….” He says to me as he hugs me close. “I’m sorry…” He whispers into my ear. “I love you too…since I first saw you…I loved you.” I tell him. I kissed him. He kissed me back. I love you…Zero. But why do I want to…? “Will you play those songs for me one day?” He asked me still hugging me. “Yes…of course…” I say. “My…head…every thing is spinning…” I say as I collapse. “Mizuki…?!” Zero says catching me. “I…my head hurts…I’m thirsty…” I say my eyes closing. He picks me up bridal style. He takes me to the infirmary. One the way every one asks what happened. Why does everyone make such a big fuss…? He lays me in a bed. Yuuki comes in with the headmaster. “What’s wrong?” They ask. “She almost passed out.” Zero says. I hear a howl in the distance. Shoot! My wolf he’s hungry! Or hurt again. Or he misses me. “I must…get…him…” I say trying to get out of the bed. Everyone pushes me back. “I’ll get our new friend.” The headmaster says. “What? Who is he talking about?” Yuuki asks me. I didn’t answer. My throat hurts…”Mizuki earlier…did you say your throat hurt?” Zero asks me. I nod my head. “Hhhmmm” He says. The headmaster came in with my wolf friend. He barks and leaps on to the bed. Zero and Yuuki were really surprised. “How…?” They asked. I told them the story not saying the part how I was crying my eyes out. The wolf licks my face. “Down boy…” I say. He stops and jumps off the bed. “Did you train him?” Yuuki asks. “A little but he seems to understand me anyway. Like he can understand humans…” I say. Zero whispers something to the chairman. I hear thirsty blood. “Mizuki…does your head hurt?” The headmaster says. “Yes a lot…I think I’m going to pass out any time now…” I say my head spinning. “Really…you smell like vampires…I noticed it when you first came to us. Vampires that have gone without blood for a long time have the same symptoms. Mizuki…I think you might be a vampire.” He says. What me a vampire?! I’m totally shocked. So are Yuuki and Zero. I get very pale. Suddenly a bunch of memories and images fill my head. It’s blinding…all of my lost memories are coming back… He’s right I’m a vampire. A pureblood…the first vampire ever… Zero runs out the door. “Zero…” I whisper. I jump out of the bed and Run after him. I bump into a lot of things. The images are very distracting. I am literally blind. “Zero… Zero!” I say. He waits for me. I run into him. I grab the front of his shirt. “Zero…I’m so so so so sorry… I…I’m a vampire…It’s true…the memories are coming back…all of them…I’m a pureblood…the first vampire in the world…I know you dislike vampires…and-and I understand if you hate me now…if I had known…” I say me head filled with memories. “It’s ok…it’s ok… I still love you…” He says as I fall into his arms.
