"I hope you girls have learned your lesson."
Jennie and Jisoo, standing behind Yang Hyun Suk's long oak table, nodded solemnly, and their boss smiled.
"Good. Now that you are aware of the consequences that come with your actions," he said, pausing to pull a file from his desk drawer, "I have an assignment for you two, as well as Chaeyoung and Lalisa."
The two girls looked up suddenly, trying to suppress their surprised faces.
"When Kwon Jiyoung was an SM trainee and started to show interest in switching to YG, one of his assignments to prove his willingness was to bug the corridors and rooms of SM headquarters with cameras. To this day, they still give YG a helpful insight into what SM is planning, and we have discovered that they have hired 7 external men to ambush 8 JYP trainees tomorrow. I want you four to swoop in and take them all out while they're distracted by each other."
The girls nodded and received the file from Yang Hyun Suk.
"That file contains all the information you'll need on all the people involved, as well as the location of the ambush. Seungri will be outside your dorm in 10 minutes to bring you girls to the armoury. Good luck."

LE threw a bag at Hyerin's feet, and the latter picked it up slowly.
"Pick a paper from inside," LE mumbled, plopping onto the couch. Hyerim, still confused, reached inside and picked out the paper that she thought had the best shape. She pulled it out and threw it at LE, but it just fluttered onto the seat next to her pathetically. Annoyed, she threw it again, but it gracefully fluttered in front of her again. Now pretty frustrated, Hyerin picked up the paper and shoved it into LE's lap.
"You picked YG. Huh, I guess we're infiltrating YG headquarters now," LE said, unfazed by Hyerin's battle against the slip of paper.
"We're what?" Hyerin said, puzzled.
"My machine is complete; we just had to choose a gang to infiltrate and you chose YG, so tomorrow we're going to do just that," LE replied, now munching on popcorn lazily.
"We can't just infiltrate the headquarters of a Big 3 gang! We'll be caught and killed immediately!" Hyerin shot back.
"Actually, we'll be controlling the machine from about a kilometre away, I tested it just now and it works, so even if the machine is found we won't be caught. Now would you do me a favour and grab more popcorn?"
Hyerin grabbed a bag of popcorn from the kitchen and threw it straight at LE's face, but the older girl caught it before it hit her. "Thanks," she said simply and opened the bag.

Bang!
Bang!
Bang!

Wendy groaned as she ran out of bullets yet again. She'd been firing in the firing range all morning without a break, and it was longer than she'd ever practised in her life.
To the far right, Joy was cleaning her pistol and sharpening her knives with headphones on, and from the rooftop of the generator building, Yeri was aiming at one of the targets with her sniper rifle. Seulgi and Irene were sparring in the training room, and it was looking to be a productive day for the girls.
A boy walked up next to her, and thinking that it was just one of the NCT boys, she ignored him at first, until he suddenly asked her where the guns were kept.
An SM trainee wouldn't ask that question, much less and NCT member, she thought, and she turned to face the boy, surprised to see that it was someone she didn't recognise. He was much taller than her, with a kind of oval-ish face and wide shoulders, and he was undeniably very handsome.
"I'm sorry, are you new here?" She asked.
"I'm not really a trainee here, per say, I've been hired by your boss and I'm practising shooting for tomorrow."
Wendy was suddenly hit by a wave of realisation. "You're one of those Bangtan Sonyeondan boys from Bighit, aren't you? What's your name?"
The boy smiled as he replied, "I'm Kim Seokjin, but you can call me Jin."
Wendy held out her hand for him to shake. "Nice to meet you, Jin, and the guns are in there, by the way," she said, pointing to the very end of the firing range where a metal door led to the ammo storage. Jin shook her hand and walked into the storage room, returning not long later with a rifle and several rounds of ammunition.
He seemed to be a good shooter, since all of his bullets hit the bullseye, and apart from the constant sound of bullets being shot and the occasional click click as they ran out of ammo, they were silent.
"So, are you nervous for tomorrow?" Wendy suddenly piped up, desperate to break the silence.
"No not at all, why would I be?" Jin replied, still aiming at the target. "I've been waiting to do this to JYP people for a long time. He left us hanging, you know, so I'm not guilty at all for what we're about to do tomorrow. If SM betrays us and it's a set up but we survive, I wouldn't hesitate to do the same thing to you guys."
Jin pulled the trigger. His bullet landed squarely in the bullseye, and Wendy gulped, not knowing why.
"Uhh... okay, that's nice," she said, trying not to sound nervous.
"But I'm sure SM wouldn't betray us. They're far too nice to do that, after all," Jin said, smiling. "Could you hand me another round of ammo?"

Dahyun was still in bad shape, yet Nayeon was walking back to the dorms alone. All the other girls were still waiting in the hospital; they would only be going home the next day, and now Nayeon felt truly alone and very, very guilty.
It was starting to rain, like a clichéd scene in a drama, and Nayeon cursed her luck. She was also cursing the fact that she had been found out by Jeongyeon, and could only pray that she wouldn't tell anyone until she herself found the courage to explain herself.
The rain picked up its pace, and so did Nayeon. She needed to get home before thunder and lightning rolled in.

wHo'S eXcItEd fOr mOnDaY???
Nobody is. I hate mondays. Delffynium you're lucky your school has e-learning for the entire fucking week while I'm stuck in school with the worst classes that ever existed. Whose idea was it to make us teenagers take fucking Governance and Society????
(I actually love the school I'm in, I just hate... studying.)
Like I said in the previous chapter, updates will be slowing down considerably. I think I may only update once or twice (no pun intended) a week from now on, depending on my willingness to do homework. If I procrastinate a lot, then I'll update faster lol.
Have a nice Monday (hopefully)
