Pairing for Potions -Blon oneshot

"Good afternoon, children." Professor Slughorn stated as he watched his students file in to the room. "Today we will be working on a soulmate Potion. And at the end of class, you all will drink the potion, and be drawn to your soulmate. Many of you shall have to seal the potion with a kiss, you will feel very compelled to do so in anycase, and it would be more beneficial to do so. Once you have found your soulmate, report back to me tomorrow, with the effects of your creation. Now pair up. One slytherin and one gryffindor per pair."

Ron sighed as he wandered over to Blaise Zabini, who out of the lot of the slytherins, wasn't too bad. Hermione had already paired with Pansy Parkinson, as they had become something close to friends recently, spending time in the library together.

     Blaise smiled at him slightly, and they got to work. Ron setting out ingredients, and preparing them, while the slytherin made the potion. Ron looked around the room distractedly, noticing that Harry had paired with Malfoy. Again. Ron had no idea what was going on with those two. He had caught them both staring at eachother in ways that meant more than just thier old rivalry. They both seemed to work well with eachother,  seeming to know what the other wanted before they even said anything. They looked good together actually.
   
       Ron knew that Ginny wasn't quite over Harry yet, but it was obvious that Harry wasn't giving her a second thought. Ron knew his best friend was into blokes too, so maybe that was it. Maybe Harry had a crush on Malfoy. That would be kind of funny, but cute.

Somebody behind Ron cleared their throat. "Weasley. Focus. You'll chop your finger off if your not careful." Ron snapped out of his reverie and tuned his attention back to his partner, and the task at hand.

   "Right, er, sorry." Ron apologised, and then raised his eyebrows in surprise at his reaction. Zabini was surprised too.

    "No need to apologise. You didn't really do anything wrong, I was just worried you'd hurt yourself. I was watching them too though. Draco blushes alot, whenever Potter is brought up in conversation. I think there's something going on between them."

"Mm, I think that'd be cute, don't you? And just a bit funny too." Ron replied, looking over at the other boy, who was taller than him.

"Definitely. They're adorable together. If this potion just keeps them in the same place, I wouldn't be surprised. They'll be snogging by the end of class,  id bet ten galleons on it." Blaise announced, turning back to the couldren. Ron nodded enthusiastically, and grinned.

"Hogwarts' cutest couple. They'll have all the girls all over 'em." He stated. Blaise laughed, and Ron couldn't help but admire how pretty it sounded. He grinned, and they fell back into a comfortable silence, working on the potion together. That is until Blaise broke the silence again.

"Weasley? Are- are you still dating Granger?" He asked, not looking up from the couldren.

"Hermione? Nah, found out im more into blokes. You know?" Ron said casually. Blaise looked up at that, surprised.
"Oh believe me, I know. I found out I was into blokes a long time ago."

"Yeah? Cool. Um, you know you can call me Ron right? I don't mind." The ginger boy said, carefully.

"Well then, you can call me Blaise. Oh, we're done we just wait thirty seconds, and then bottle it." The dark boy exclaimed. After the time was up, they both looked around, and saw that they were first finished, which was an accomplishment in itself for Ron. Hermione and Pansy were close behind, as were Harry and Draco.

    Both boys turned to eachother, and smiled. They tipped the vials up and drank the liquid. The effects were almost immediate. They each took a step towards eachother, as if in a trance, and stared in fascination.

Then without warning, Blaise dipped his head down towards Ron's and pressed thier lips together.

The kiss started off gentle, and sweet. But then Ron wrapped his arms around the other boys neck, and Blaise brought his own down and snaked them around the smallers waist, deepening the kiss. The taller boy nipped and licked at the ginger's lip, until the boy finally gave in and let his soulmate, continue his quest. She slytherin slipped his tongue into the gryffindor's mouth, and started to explore every inch of its newfound territory. The smaller squeaked, and they broke away panting, and smiling.

The boy's looked around the room, and saw many people, rushing to the door, and out of it, presumably to find thier soulmate, there were a few people snogging in the corner, including Harry and Draco, and Hermione and Pansy. Dean and Seamus were among the group too, but nobody was surprised if they were being honest.

    Blaise leaned down and whispered into his soulmates ear.
"Do you know how long I've wanted to kiss you? It's been a while."

Ron grinned, and turned around.
"Want to do it again?" He asked slyly. And the grabbed the taller boy by his tie, and pulled him back down for another kiss.
