Today was just like any day for me. I woke up at around 2 in the afternoon and then went downstairs for breakfast. As I rounded the corner I heard my mom tell my brother to turn the volume down on the TV followed by my brother's usual grumbling. As I entered the kitchen I tried to be as quiet as I could so I wouldn't attract attention to myself. I made it to the pantry and grabbed the only sugary cereal in the house. I started to tiptoe back towards the staircase, but my mom heard me and told me to bring down my laundry and practice my piano. I groaned and went about doing what she asked. When I had finished I quickly made my way upstairs with the cereal. When I was safe in my room I spun around and locked my door, then I got my favorite blanket and went right to my laptop with pieces of cereal trailing behind me. I opened up my laptop and heard the familiar starting up tone. When the log in screen popped up I couldn't help but giggle at the meme I had as the background. I put my hands lightly on the keyboard and took up the persona of a reporter from the 60s that was clacking away on a typewriter and as fast as possible typed in my username and password. "Yes!" I said as I fist pumped the air. "Finally beat my record time!" Once I was done celebrating I opened up google and went to my most visited page, ArtLoversUnite.com. Then I scrolled through the endless amounts of art posted on the site. I loved art. I had always loved art and took it very seriously. Although I myself have never been very good at drawing or painting or anything like that, I absolutely adored the people that were. Among my favorites are the overly used Starry Night and Scream. I had always loved the old classic artists, but lately I felt like I'd found my soulmate of the art world. The artist posted his pieces anonymously, and never signed his work. To keep people from plagiarizing he placed a large watermark on his art that was online, but that was just a big letter A. Most people had never seen any part of anonymous artist referred to by the community as A, but I had seen part of him just once. In the background of one of his pieces he had posted online you could see a mirror. In that mirror there was a flash of jet black hair, fair freckled skin, and a glimpse of a single crystal blue eye. Just barely seeing even a part of him was the most dazzling thing I'd ever seen. Ever since I saw that post I hadn't been able to get that blue eye out of my head. I knew I had to meet him, but how in the world could I do that if I didn't even know his name?!
