When we walked over to the cafe all I could do was look at my hands. I was so embarrassed! I literally just blurted out a confession of love to this guy I didn't even know. We sat down across from each other at a little cafe table. I chose a little rough spot on the table to look down at rather than face Andrew. I could feel him looking at me. I'd never felt this way before and I was starting to crack under the pressure of the situation. I silently stole a glance at Andrew and confirmed my early suspicions. He was just sitting there looking at me and when he saw me look up at him he quickly looked away like a bashful grade schooler. It was really cute and I couldn't help but blush and giggle lightly. He heard me and started to laugh a little to himself. This whole thing felt like some crazy dream. I suddenly felt another wave of confidence roll over me and I looked at Andrew. The next thing I knew my mouth was already forming the question, "Will you go out with me?" Again surprised by myself I clasped me mouth, "I know that we just met and that I made it weird by just outright confessing, but would you be willing to give me a chance? We can take it slow and actually get to know each other." He looked back at me with an embarrassed look on his face. "I've never been asked out before," He said, "But if we keep it slow I would be willing to try to have a relationship with you." He looked away again. I was thrilled, I'd never gone on a date before let alone been in any sort of relationship and this was so exciting. After that we just sat and talked for a really long time. I told him about myself and told me about himself. We talked a lot about art. As it turned out, Andrew was not only an amazing artist but was also an avid art collector. It was great to find out that we had a lot in common. Then out of nowhere my brother popped up. "Hey Rose mom and dad say it's time to go home." He tried to snatch my drink that I hadn't managed to finish but I pulled it away before he could. Then he noticed Andrew who was quietly studying my brother. "Oooooo is he your boyfriend? Hahaha as if." My brother said jokingly as he gestured at Andrew. "Actually, he and I are now dating F-O-R Y-O-U-R I-N-F-O-R-M-A-T-I-O-N!" I exclaimed. Then I looked back at Andrew and said, "Andrew this is my little brother Blake. Blake this is the artist I'm now dating." My brother said hello and shook Andrew's hand than narrowing his eyes he walked away reminding me that our parents were waiting. I told him I'd be out soon. "I'm so glad I managed to meet you. And it's incredible for me that we're now dating." I said to Andrew, "I'm sorry to say that I have to go, but my parents will kill me if I'm any later. I'll talk to you later though!" I got up and hugged him goodbye. "Okay I'll be expecting a call later." He said back and then we parted ways. I ran off to the family car and we left the supermarket.
