I'll Never Let That Happen To You Again (Part 2)

[Loki's POV]

The party have finally started. <Y/N> must be very busy right now. I can't wait to meet her soon, she must be the prettiest girl in this room right now with the dress.

[Your POV]

I woke up to freezing cold water being splashed on me. And yes, both of the same guards standing right in front of me. I tried to get up but I couldn't.

"Tell us the truth and we will inform the Allfather." one of the guards said.

"NO! WHAT I HAVE SAID TO THE ALLFATHER WILL BE THE TRUTH." I shouted with all the strength I had left. They started to beat me up till I was almost unconscious again. This became their routine and my suffering for the following days, I don't know how many days because I have lost track of time in this dark room. They would interrogate me at least 5 times a day. I was given food in small quantities but struggled to eat them partially because I was chained tightly and another is because each time I moved it was really painful.

My once beautiful dress is horrid right now. I am so upset because Loki had made this dress for me and here it is, going into waste. Without me realising, the green glow started to fade away, which signify that the magic is going away. Even so, it still looks horrid. My whole body is not in a good state. My feet had wounds because I had no time to put shoes on before they caught me.

I wonder how Loki is. Days had passed since we have met for the last time before the party. He must have been waiting for me. I feel so sorry because I couldn't turn up as promised.

The pain is getting numb. I felt like I was dying as my strength slowly fades away. I hope Loki does not see me in this state. I hope he would forget me and find another girl that deserves him as much as she deserves her. I just hope that I would just disappear from his life right now.

Loki where are you.. I hope you are well my love.. I'm so sorry that I had to exist in your life just to end it with pain....

[Loki's POV]

I wonder where <Y/N> is.. It has been 3 days since I've met her. I can't ask anybody because it would spark controversy. She must have been too busy that I couldn't even find her around.

I was reading my book in my chamber when I had an uneasy feeling. Out of a sudden, a green glow went into my hand. It seems like the magic I casted had came back. What is it? Is it from <Y/N>'s dress? Why would it come back? Worried, I went to <Y/N>'s chambers to check on her. Before teleporting, I casted a spell so no one would be able to see me.

Once I am in <Y/N>'s chambers, I noticed something was amiss. <Y/N>'s side of room looked different but I didn't have second thoughts. Maybe she changed it up. I saw the servant that have been <Y/N>'s friend sleeping and <Y/N>'s back on the bed, sleeping. I guess nothing bad happened. I sighed in relief. I walked toward's <Y/N> to see her face because I miss her so much. I brought down the blanket that was covering her face. I gasped.

It wasn't <Y/N>. Who is this?! Where is she?! I started to feel furious. Where had she been to? Why did she not let me know?! I walked through the door, trying to figure out where is she. Suddenly, I heard faint whisper from the back of my head. It was of a familiar voice, it was <Y/N>. What does she mean? Is she in danger?

I started to walk around the palace in search of her. It is frustrating how I could not find any help at this point of time. I've walked far, still no notice of her. Out of frustration my tears start to well up. I shouted to let out my frustration.

"Where are you? Where have you been to?? Come back to me now.." I said as I held my forehead and punched the wall.

"Loki my dear.." a familiar voice of a woman, but I am sure it is not <Y/N> came from behind me, as delicate hands held my shoulder. Out of anger, I was about to hit her but my fist stopped in midair when I realised it was my mother; Queen Frigga. She held my fist and brought it down. I could sense the worry in her eyes.
