《《《FLASHBACK》》》

"Mark, I have to leave Korea" I said as tears streamed from my eyes
"Wh-What? But why?" He asked and I saw tears falling from his eyes.

"I want to forget you because my parents hate you" I thought

"I have to continue my studies in America" I lied
"(Y/N), y-you can c-continue your stu-studies here" He stuttered
"Just stay here with me" He said
"Mark-" I can't continue my sentence when he suddenly kissed me, at first I tried to pull away but after a moment I was enjoying my first kiss, then he slowly broke the kiss.
"I love you (Y/N), please don't leave me" Mark confessed.

"I can't believe it my best friend and crush  fell in love with me" I thought

"I-I'm sorry Mark but I can't disobey my parents"  I said
"We can run away an-" I cut his sentence when I hugged him
"Mark, I'm gonna miss you" Tears fell from my eyes again
"Yo-You're already leaving?" I nodded
"I love you too Mark Lee, forever and always" I gave him a peck on his lips before I left him.

《《《FLASHBACK OVER》》》

I can still remember the lies that I said to Mark before we moved from Korea to America 2 years ago. And now we're back at Korea because my parents' business. I don't know why my parents hated Mark but all I know is Mark's parents and mine are rivals because of the business.
"UNNIE!" I was brought back to reality when my 13 year old sister shouted
"GODDAMN IT CHAERIN!" I cursed out loud
"Eomma, (Y/N) unnie said bad words" She said while running to the kitchen
"She's acting like a 5-year old girl" I mumbled
"(Y/N), don't say stuff like that in front of your sister!" Eomma shouted in the kitchen
"Eomma, Chaerin is not a 5-year old anymore!" I responded
"Just don't say bad words anymore" She said as she went on the living room where I was.
"(Y/N), you're in charge of the house, I have to go to Jeju to visit your grandparents but don't worry I have left food in the fridge if your hungry and I added some money in your credit card of you need to buy something, I'll be back next week" Eomma said before she left the house.

I was watching Episode 31 of Meteor Garden when Chaerin sat beside
"Unnie, since eomma is not home I have to tell you something" She excitedly said. I paused the video and faced her.
"What do you want to tell me?" I asked
"Well, this is the greatest first day of school in my life 'cause there's a group of handsome boys in our school" She said smiling
"So? Like I care?" I said coldly
"You could've chose SOPA instead of GCU, do you hate SOPA?" She asked
"I don't hate SOPA, I just have a friend that I left there and I don't want to see him again" I sadly said
"Who's the 'friend' your talking about?" She asked
"Your asking too many question, go and eat your dinner" I said as I continued watching.

I was almost finished watching Episode 31, when the doorbell rang.
"Chaerin-ah! Open the door!" I shouted
"Aish! Unnie, I'm washing the dishes here!" She shouted back
"Ugh!" I groaned. I lazily stood up  and went to the door. I opened the door and I was shocked to see MARK.

(Mark's POV)

I was walking out of the school when I saw an I.D, I picked it up and saw the name 'Kim Chaerin'and I looked on the address.
"Maybe, I should give this back" I said. I rode a taxi and went to Kim Chaerin's address. When I arrived at the house, I rang the doorbell and suddenly a girl opened the door.
"Kim Chaerin-" I did'nt continue my sentence when I saw (Y/N).

(Y/N)'s POV

"Kim Chaerin-" He did'nt continue his sentence when he saw me. I can tell on his face that he was shocked too
"(Y/N), is that you?" He asked trying to hold back his tears
"Well yeah, that's my name, how do you know?" I scratched my nape feeling uneasiness and pretending that I don't know him
"You don't remember me?" I shook my head
"It's me Mark Lee" He said
"I'm sorry but I don't anyone named Mark Lee" I said trying to hold back my tears. He just stayed silent then the next thing I know is that he pulled me closer and suddenly kissed me. Then I felt my heart beat faster.

"The same kiss when I left" I thought

He broke the kiss and I slapped him.
"How can you kiss a girl you just met!" I shouted at him trying to hold back my tears
"I-I'm sorry you remind me of someone whom I love so much" He cried

"I'm sorry Mark" I thought

"Oh, so that's why you kissed me" I said
"You really love her don't you?" I asked as he nodded and he suddenly cried
"I-I'm s-sorry for di-disturbing y-you" He said still crying. I can't take it anymore so I pulled him to my embrace.
"Y-You re-really resemble her" He said, when he said that I felt guilty for causing him pain because of my lies and I ended up crying with him.
"M-Mark, I'm s-sorry f-for my lies" I cried in his shoulder. He broke the hug ang looked at me with eyes widened in complete shook. He felt happy at the same time betrayed.

(Mark's POV)

"I-I uh" I cannot process everything what she said
"Mark, i'm really sorry" She said crying harder
"(Y/N), what do you mean?" I asked
"I lied, I just wanted to forget the friendship we had" She said
"Wh-What? You remember everything?" She nodded

(Y/N)'s POV

"Wh-What? You remember everything?" I nodded
"But why do you want to forget our friendship?" Tears started falling from Mark's eyes
"I did'nt want anything of this to happen" I cried
"My parents hated you" I said
"Wh-What? Why?" He threw questions
"Because our parents are rivals at their companies" I said
"Why did'nt my parents tell me this?" He asked
"Yo-You have'nt knew about this?" I asked as he shook his head
"Now that you know, our friendship ends here" I cried
"No, this can't be the end" He cried harder
"I'm sorry, but it's better that we forget each other" I tried to stop myself from crying while I slowly walked towards the door
"(Y/N), I still like you" He said, I stopped my tracks when I heard those words. I looked back at him and saw him crying.
"I like you" He said
"I know liking the child of my parents' rivals is crazy but I can't stop this feeling, I really like you" He said
"I-I don't know what to say" I said
"I like you too Mark" Those words escaped my mouth. He walked closer and I just stood there waiting for the next thing that'll happen, then he suddenly kissed my lips. After a moment, he broke the kiss and stared at me causing me to blush.
"Be with me (Y/N)" He said
"I will" I smiled.
