Fractured Perception

"N-Naruto, what the hell was that?!" Sakura half screamed, half asked. Naruto simply looked at Kakashi as if to say 'you tell them' then used shunshin to go...somewhere.

Kakashi just sighed and turned to his other students. "Naruto is...how should I put this...different. His childhood was extremely difficult, he was beaten maliciously nearly every day as a kid. This gave birth to an unending hatred inside Naruto, which turned into great power" Kakashi half-lied, so he wouldn't have to reveal the secret of the nine-tails. Sakura looked like Kakashi was crazy, while Sasuke just looked bored.

"When the Hokage caught wind of this power, he approached me and placed Naruto under my care, which is how I know him. The one catch to me raising him, was he was to be placed in the ANBU Black Ops as a trainee, so he could learn to harness his awesome power" Kakashi continued, knowing that Naruto was listening to everything he was saying. "And harness it he did. He quickly became the most powerful trainee we had ever seen, even defeating a few more experienced ANBU. He ascended the ranks quickly, captaining his own squad in only a few months. His utter ruthlessness and killing potential earned him the nickname, 'The Blood Fox", and landed him a top spot in several Hidden Villages' bingo books as a 'flee on sight' order. He's possibly the most effective ANBU operative we've had since Itachi Uchiha". When Kakashi said that name, Sasuke winced slightly, and Kakashi mentally slapped himself for bringing it up.

"In any case, that's all there really is to Naruto. Did I miss anything?" Kakashi asked as he looked into the trees, where he knew Naruto was hiding. "Nope, that's all they need to know" Naruto said as he jumped from the trees. "Come on, we should get to Tazuna's house" said Kakashi as he began walking in the direction of the bridge builder's house, who had long since pissed himself, and was in need of a change of shorts.

The house was dead silent, except for the sounds of Tsunami cleaning behind them. No one had said a word since hearing about Naruto's past, and how strong he apparently was. Unlike everyone else was downstairs however, Sasuke was in silent disbelief, as well as deep thought. 'How could that dobe be more powerful than Itachi? It's impossible!' The boy thought to himself as he finally stood and walked outside.

The sole Uchiha heir groaned as sauntered out the door. Right in front of the house, was Naruto training with Kakashi again. They were always up earlier than everyone else and training until they couldn't train anymore. Right now they were just lightly sparring, and Sasuke could see that they both were taking great care to not let out too much of their power.

"Kakashi let's stop for now. The Uchiha pest is weirding me out" Naruto spat as he stopped the spar, showing his utter hatred for his teammate. Kakashi just sighed at his student as he looked at Sasuke his his trademarked eye-smile. "What do you need Sasuke?" He asked the Uchiha heir. Sasuke looked Naruto dead in the eyes and spat "train me to be stronger than him" right back at the blond, obviously talking more to his comrade than his sensei.

"Sasuke...I-" Kakashi began before Naruto interjected. "Beat me? You think a worm like you could even touch me?? That's hilarious" he cackled, his last word taking on a suddenly dark and almost...demonic tone. Sasuke began to sweat slightly, and he took a step back before suddenly remembering who he thought he was and standing his ground. "I know I can beat you, and when I do, you will show me the respect I deserve" he said before Kakashi stepped back in.

Sasuke grunted and tried to shove his sensei out of the way to get to Naruto, but Kakashi held strong. "Sasuke he'd kill you without a second thought. Don't start a fight you know you can't win" the scarecrow said with a bit of bite in his tone as he turned to face his student. "Put away your damn pride and realize when you're totally outclassed. Naruto's in a completely world compared to you, and if you pull another stunt like that again you'll see that I am too" He continued, the disdain clear in his voice as he looked down at Sasuke.
